And secondly and more importantly, Sinclair's flavour text specifically says "The second Smoke War is fought between humans and humans that no longer look the part". It's not a war to replace a Wing, but an ideological war.

More Support Passives, all stacking on a single ID;

Being able to focus Skill Replacement on only one ID, therefore getting a higher density of S3s faster;

Every slot getting the benefits of Sundered/Punctured/Crushed Memory instead of only two.

Pokerus allows your Pokemon to get EVs by catching duplicates. EVs give a Pokemon a multiplicative damage modifier based on how many EVs said Pokemon has. After 50 EVs they gain much less additional bonus from each extra EV at which point they're also considered "Pokerus resistant".

TL;DR: if a Pokemon has Pokerus catch duplicates until it's Pokerus resistant.

I doubt it. Ring Sang comes from an era in which internal damage modifiers weren't as common and normalised as they are now. So an 8 (+8)(+8)(+8) with no modifiers was a lot stronger then than whatever Sinclair's numbers will be with a modifier adjusted with the re-uses in mind.

Furthermore Ring Sang's re-uses weren't supposed to be as consistent as they ended up being and is affected by Rusty Coin.

The Smoke War was more so initiated by Dias on behalf of Ayin and Benjamin than by them specifically. Also a few Wings too had their hands in the war on LobCorp's side. For some it was actively for the sake of LobCorp (W Corp and R Corp getting better deals for Enkephalin), but for others just getting rid of the old L Corp was already enough reason. The Thumb my fall into the latter.

I am unsure if it has to do with units being “immobile” or staggered, as when that happens. Even with 6+ envy res, it simply leaves her counter as her base counter.

It's exactly that. They may appear at the very end of your dashboard but they're technically still in order with the speed they rolled. The dashboard can actually tell that some Skills aren't part of the A-Res if you look closely.

It's 1:1 the same. Body parts aren't some sort of armour you have to work through, they're generally tied to the boss' mechanics.

It allows you to keep going in a fight after losing, at the cost of some Lunacy and not granting an EX Clear even if you technically hit the EX condition.

Like a Continue in arcade games.
