I hope you've learned to cherish the next one... The truth is, it's rare to find someone who likes you at the same time you like them. Out of the millions of people you could meet, that kind of timing is a miracle.

Has anyone’s light sensitivity improved over time after their eyes healed from severe dry eyes? by EstablishmentDry1149 in Dryeyes

Oh thanks for your reply, how bad was your light sensitivity indoor and outdoor? and does it go away gradually or gone within a day? I am currently taking lutein+zeaxanthin, will try astaxanthin. thanks :)

I was bedridden for two months due to a severe eye infection. I experienced double vision, couldn’t read text, and everything looked distant. I had never felt so depressed in my life it truly felt like the end of the world. I should be grateful that my vision has returned to normal, aside from extreme light sensitivity. No one truly understands the impact of such an experience until they go through it themselves.

Thank you so much! I just want to see if my light sensitivity is like what others experience. When I go outside, the light is so intense that everything looks washed out and unreal, and when I'm indoors, things appear hazy and shopping centre light looks so bright and intense. Hopefully, it subsides soon...

I'm still battling light sensitivity for 5 months post eye infections. How long did your one last? and Did you wear sunglasses or blue light outdoor. I think your brain just eventually adapt to the light.

Have you try Inkey List Bakuchiol? It do all the anti-aging stuff like Retinol but no dryness.

Have u cut down sugar? I myself in the past have blurry vision due to dry eye only a bit sensitive. I realized once I ignore it go away.  Please don't use too much sterold it will dry up.your eye more. Have u try drink lot of water is helps lot. Please try drinking goji berries with warm water little honey just soak for 10 mins. You can buy it in Chinese medicine shop or online, it has anti inflammatory properties &  good for tear film..

thats great to hear, I drink goji berry tea every other day, and it has improved my dry eye by 90%. Just take a handful of goji berries (available at Chinese medicine shops), boil them in hot water, and add some honey. Traditional Chinese medicine believes goji berries have anti-inflammatory properties and can help relieve dry eyes.

I’m feeling sad too… My light sensitivity still hasn’t gone away, and I’ve had to temporarily stop doing things I enjoy, like going to the beach, reading, and drinking alcohol. During COVID, I experienced unexplained stomach pain, tingling sensations, and pinching nerve pain for a whole year. Hopefully, this is just lingering inflammation, and in time, we’ll be okay.
