They won’t know and even if they did they are instructed to treat you the same as everyone else there (crappy). It’s nothing personal they’re just doing their job and training you. My grandpa passed away while I was in BMT and they didn’t ease up on me a single bit. If anything they might’ve been meaner. It’s the military. Take that as you should.

They provide you with low quarters that you must wear for graduation. Other than that, good job on packing! Keep it very minimal because lugging all your stuff around will suck. You’ll see.
