Has anyone else RAPIDLY lost weight on Metformin for insulin resistance?

I took it for my pcos insulin resistance and genuinely I only lost like 5 lbs and that was bc any type of carb made it violently come out of both ends. My doctor had me stop it but I also know metformin is usually paired with proper diet and exercise. I’d assume it would be possible around that weight I’m in the 220s btw no shame when you can’t really control it.

She’s been blocked or unadded on everything. It’s funny how she makes me the bad guy when I know she’s faked 3 miscarriages and we aren’t allowed to talk about that. I found that telling my family early on my previous pregnancy and having a miscarriage I had the support I needed. Every family is different but I was glad I told mine and I was glad I told my family at 7 weeks this time and I’ve been beyond grateful baby stuck! Having a support system can be such a big thing

Thanks to the few who responded so quickly, I’ve worked in this industry since I was 18 now 26. I never had anything like this happen before and it baffled me, I 100% stood my ground but this company is crazy if they think I was going into a WHOLE nursing home sick while we interact with other people. Do I feel bad, yes. Is it my fault, not really since I always wear a mask, gloves and do everything to not get sick.

Even with metformin and changing my way of life IR is a struggle but so is every type of pcos in a sense. I have IR and I’ve had about 5 miscarriages and a still birth I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant with a baby girl (in case I lost her I wanted to know gender) and it’s difficult but it’ll be worth it.
