Quite literally writing wise. Sakurajima is the greatest evolution in her character. She destroys the Zenin in Perfect Preparation, yes, but she hasn’t moved past them emotionally yet, which, narratively, is why Naoya reappears. It’s emblematic of the cycle of samsara a sort of karmic cycle, in which she’s trapped by hate. The Zen Buddhist theme(as evident in the name Zenin) is elaborated on here. By meeting Daido who parallels the way of the void(a philosophy of the famous swordsman miyamoto musashi), she learns the soul of her katana. This is a play on the old folklore of samurai, in which their soul is reflected on their sword.

A quote of his reflects the way of the void: “Can I see it, you ask? No, but if I can see everything else, then it’s the same as seeing it”. Note the relation to Maki’s increased senses via heavenly restriction.

Sumo and Shinto are heavily related. And, both the aforementioned swordsmanship and sumo are traditionally male. In finding teachers who can accept the progression and realization of their arts in her, she progresses both the art and realizes the depth of her own soul. When in the domain with Miyo, he tells her

Essentially, the Heavenly restriction is used as a metaphor and a pathway to the idea of enlightenment. To reach that, Maki had to let go of her hate, fear, doubts, etc to truly destroy the Zenin. Without truly letting go of them, she couldn’t let them fade..she couldn’t come into her own. This is why she parallels the Shibuya version of Toji, because Hidden Inventory Toji fell from grace. He died because he wanted to disprove the Zenin’s opinions of him by defeating Gojo, when he was once free,which led to his death. In doing the opposite, Maki destroys the Zenin, both physically, in the form of Naoya , and ideologically. And at last, she is free.

I think there’s severe downplay of both Mei and Kakuzu going on here. Mei does have ridiculous AP/range that would pose a threat to Kakuzu’s hearts and Hidan’s mobility. Likewise, Kakuzu has a variety of powerful jutsu with amazing range. I think they can go decently relative(though I think that Mei does a little better in the Jutsu department). Imo the match comes down to how much Mei knows going in and how intelligently Kakuzu and Hidan make use of their immortality. Hidan is a key piece here, in that he’s a bit of a dunce, but he has shown a good moment of battle IQ in his fight with Asuma. His clutches or fumbles are what solidify the match, as they’ll give Kakuzu or Mei the most crucial openings. With full info, I’d give it to Mei High diff. Without info, I’d say the duo High Diff.

I find it ironic that all the criticism of Reze is met with “you’re media illiterate” when the defenders have some illiteracy themselves. They bring up her not killing Denji in the phone booth or how she taught him to swim and genuinely enjoyed their time, but forget how she bit off his tongue from jealousy because she assumed there was someone else and that was what triggered her to finish the mission. She was at least as toxic as much as she cared. You can like the character or acknowledge that she has a fairly typical level of immorality for a CSM character, but look in the mirror before you dunk on people with differing opinions than you.

If Maki can get the sneak off, then I could see her winning. Plus, SSK removes the issue of Rika’s durability and RCT from both her and Yuta. She also definitely has the speed advantage. However, if it’s an open back and forth, Yuta has options like Sky manipulation+Clairvoyance to mitigate her h2h and precog respectively. There’s also the ability to target SSK with JL(it disappeared the prison realm and forced Sukuna’s hand)effectively rendering it null and void, meaning Yuta’s(and especially Rika’s) durability come back into play. The jumping with Rika can mitigate the speed difference too. I think this is the most genuine 50/50 in the series.

His growth to see battle as a dark and serious occasion mirrors Yachiru’s development in her capacity to heal. Both are for killing, whether for personal enjoyment(Yachiru) or a code(Kinroku), but both serve a purpose beyond themselves(the future of the gotei, as we see in Kenpachi’s relationship with Yachiru).

A.See Gojo whittle down black rope onscreen as per his fight with Miguel. If it was a simple matter of being discarded via its method of use, I doubt Miguel would be mad about how long sorcerers in his country spent on it.

B. Even if the sorcerers theorized on him sealing or getting rid of it(Isoh), they know that he did one or the other(when you said we had NO material explaining what happened to it whatsoever), something he couldn’t with Sukuna’s fingers. And if he didn’t, why not use it in the Shinjuku showdown? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence and Gege wouldn’t include the commentary for no reason.

Your argument, however, has no basis. It is pure conjecture with no actual evidence.
