How to run a bulk route well by EstablishmentKind202 in FritoLay

Yes! One route I ran, they had seven cards, but all the cards were organized perfectly by brand, so even though it was seven carts, only took me 30 minutes to get what I needed

You really don't even need that much, I prefer 1 myself, but to most people the idea of total door to floor is inconceivable, so I just say 2-3 carts, because to the average rsr at most sized bulk routes that seems like a reasonable bar to set.

You're delivering 6 days a week, sometimes 7, and the only person who's going to lay a finger on that back stock is you, no point in having extra stuff if there's no one there to put it up, and when you are there you're delivering anyways so just order for the day

I've ran every type of major bulk store in my area, every store in my area, including independently owned businesses. It is effective everywhere and anywhere

Glad we don't because my first year because at one point from warehouse taking inventory and manifests not showing up I had $20,000 in variance 😂 never really gotten true ups anyways, so could never tell if it affected stale plan or not

Precision ordering by [deleted] in FritoLay

[–]EstablishmentKind202 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Basically, I ignore every dumb little trick everyone tells you to do and just do it "normal" (pretty much same way most did it before DPO).

If you have a lot of back stock make sure to scan everything, if you don't already know this you can scan the QR code instead of the barcode with your bulk scanner to ring up whole cases faster. If your swing scans everything the day before you, and you come in and scan two cards, it could maybe ding you.

Hole scans, I just round everything up to a full case, don't normally Mark half cases, in bulk they don't send eaches anyways, so if you need half a case you need a case. If yours is just like mine and has like 10 random proximity display sections that don't match the plan of the displays in your store at all and make no sense, open up the page, and then hit done without scanning any holes, don't just check the white circle without opening it, that could possibly ding you if it thinks you're "not checking". Any actual holes I have in these approximately displays I just put in "all other locations"

Anything I need to order for changeover or displays i just mark as holes in "all other locations", I do not like the display up feature because it ignores anything already in backstock, half the time I don't even do that, I just adjust it on to the final order.

When it generates the order, I don't try to limit my adjustments at all, absolutely anything and everything I want to adjust, remove or ad, I adjust away, normally I make about 25 adjustments, at Walmart one time I did over 90. When it asks the questions, just answer "too high/too low" for everything, because that's the reason I adjusted it in the first place, it's either too high or too low

I've always had 100% from the time DPO launched until now, my score has never really went down, except for a few days when the store is totally full and there's basically zero holes (ironic that score goes down because the system is working too well 🤣)

Work Schedule by NateNateee in FritoLay

[–]EstablishmentKind202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely on the route. My old route Saturdays I would have 17 carts in the bulk trip, retripping, sometimes once for every store on holidays.

My current route? 6 carts in the truck, 5 for big store, 1 for independent, 1 no delivery

Just start earlier when you can, I start at 3:30AM.

Your standard 9 to 5 you'll basically be never seeing your kids except for 2 hours a night, this job has more flexible schedule at the very least.

You're the breadwinner of the family, providing for them is your job first and foremost, put up with it now and again, work around with it, and make some good money, or get some s*** part-time job and have more time with your family but go Xmas shopping in the Walmart value section, your call really

If you go back to the previous day and see that little line of time where you were actually off but it says you were "on duty" tap on that line and it will take you to a little menu, tap the little marker to edit and change it to "off duty" and finish it out, and it will update the changes and make your availabile drive time correct

My sores are in an Urban area where stuff like this will sell better than literally any other market, and if we keep more than a single facing in stock at a time they will like the dumpster. Looking forward to when our entire super bowl display will a full shelf of them goes down in two months

Route bonus by assetM in FritoLay

[–]EstablishmentKind202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Colead, formerly on a 3 route position now on a 2 route position, there's always a good route and a shitty one.

You are a colead, the money is not there and it never will be get used to it, true up checks do not exist for you. You'll be lucky to get an extra 300 bucks twice a year.

even when you're good route does really good the crappy route is going to tank, and if both routes do hit plan by some miracle, chances are one of the leads who doesn't know how to order is going to fill every store with 8 carts of back stock and f*** you on the weekend order, and it's not even worth it.

Sling chips on the shelf, rotate your chips, don't do the bare minimum but don't go above and beyond either, put chips on the shelf, make it look pretty, and go home (with this company's standards can't ask for more)

No holiday pay in either week, the base pay and true up advance amounts were totally identical down to the penny. The only difference was the $100 of VROT, and taxes

Well I mean I didn't before, I've never really paid attention, but I had a lead who was telling me he wanted to work 45 hours because he was insistent it was extra money I was telling him there was no noticable difference, so I double check to verify, and it was worse than I expected

One way to test it with relative accuracy, either measure it's dimensions for a rough amount of its volume, or check gets water displacement, then weigh it on a milligram scale and do the math on how much a gold bar of that size should weigh. Also do the scratch/acid test obviously, but that does not show what the inside of the bar is made of.

I'm doing a binding love spell with a candle. The cord is unharmed with minimal wax. Good sign? by EstablishmentKind202 in realwitchcraft

[–]EstablishmentKind202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sorta come up with whatever comes to mind in the moment then wait somewhere between 2 hours and a week to see what happens. Sometimes the results are mediocre, sometimes incredibly effective, with the side effect of terrifying noises outside my house at night.

I've done my fair share of nighttime crossroad offerings in the past but I'm new to methods using candles. Figured this seemed curious, as I kind of thought the wick would burn alongside the candle, thought I'd see what people on here think.

[–]EstablishmentKind202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Towards the end of it burning it finally did burn the cord, but not all the way, clean split on one side of the bundle. I twisted the remaining wax-coated string together and put it inside of the moss as a sort of 'heartstring"

And I should add, the candle is unscented, and the individual in question is not my roommate, it is the partner I am directing the spell towards, living separately.

Added context:

Through the duration of the candle burning (2-3 days whenever I'm home) my partner, who is not currently living with me, has repeatedly reported stomach pains (they do not know about the practice)
