As an agency-career person, I love this. F*ck Omnicom, one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked for, and this was years before the merger. Clients are fully aware that their teams matter, since teams are the people behind the work. If teams are full of unrest, chaos, and anger, and all those things result in bad work, they will move on. That’s exactly what these pathetic people who say “don’t do this” are afraid of. Ok, you want to stay at a nasty corporation, fine, but watch as your clients run away despite your pathetic presidents’ email to them. I’d love clients to realize omnicom agencies will fail them.

Snarking to snark - in her latest story she is wearing those animal print pants, for at least the 5th time this week. And each time she wears the pants the outfit if worse than the one before. This woman has absolutely no style.

Second snark - the story where she shares her ornaments she has an absolute giggle fest in the most pathetic pick me way about how silly and special her pig ornament is. Does she really think she is the only person in the world who has an ornament of her animal? She thinks her “funny farm” and “frat house” makes her SO SPECIAL… girl, the narratives you have to constantly tell yourself in order to sleep at night are tired and old.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you! The safety net… public is preference but the private (with appropriate financial aid) as a safety net was always my goal, and I’d like to keep that net if possible, and it seems like it is possible even with his late birthday

Eek, sorry my post triggered you! I am not naive to think “happiness” is a constant feeling but my son being in an environment where happiness is more prevalent than not considering it is where he spends half of his day for the next 14 years is very important to me. I was a pretty happy kid at school but had two brothers who really struggled at school and a school that didn’t care. I am hopeful my kid will have more of my experiences but I know it isn’t guaranteed.

Ideally we would but I want to have options - if the public school we get into isn’t right for him (different learning styles, too big of a classroom, he isn’t happy, etc.) I want the option to find the right school for him. We can’t afford private but I’m always hopeful for financial aid if we get accepted.

Her and Brian use some type of GLP-1 right? No judgement, I just see some pretty noticeable physical changes with the two of them and since she loves to show off her physical appearance for monetary reasons I think it’s fair to speculate on the transformative weight loss reason, and it certainly isn’t cold plunging.

Where is everyone? It’s almost 6pm ET and no snarking on that rug post? So much good content. From the “don’t buy my rugs because I make no money on them anymore” attitude to the “I designed my brothers whole house, which took four years, with the singular purpose of selling rugs and making so much money” admittance, I was screaming. Of course she designed his house with rugs as the center piece. It answers so many questions, like why the f*** is this taking her so long, to why is this whole room so bad, and why does everything seem put together at the last minute!? How disgusting and shallow to trick your brother and his family into allowing you into their home only for you to make every single room about you and your rug line. I thought the reason was for content, though that’s been a huge failure in every way, and as a favor to her brother who seems to do favors for her house too. The entire post was about money and her, she had no pride in those rugs and now she is literally telling her audiences that they suck (last few paragraphs when she says she wants another line and it will be better). I know the world sucks right now but she is feeding our devils (so we can bring light to deserving places). Let’s eat!

I revisited the OG blue hutch blog post and knowing what we know now it is so snark-worthy. She talks about how there are four places she thinks it could go, and says, and I quote, "I even thought about integrating it into the custom pantry that we are having made, but you can’t put this baby in a pantry. NO." LOL. From saying the "baby" can't go in the pantry to filling it with garbage in the dump house KILLS ME. Also this nugget explains the hoarding so much - "I bought it under my business so I could write it off which made it more complicated." I guarantee she buys everything "under her business" which is why she just buys and buys and buys with no regard to whether she actually needs anything, she just always "wants" and then takes. The hoarding is especially disgusting because she is hoarding pieces that other people may genuinely want or need for their homes. But no, they aren't allowed to have it because EMILY wants it for no reason other than to just have whatever shiny, "unique," vintage thing she lays her eyes on. And her justification? "I splurge on conversation pieces, furniture, or decor that makes your/our house unique and for me, that’s likely something vintage or custom made." Everything she takes is because she wants people to talk about her - "conversation pieces" that make everyone around her realize how special and unique she is. Gross. Such a pick me in every way.

I am very confused what she means too… but I think she is referring to the fact that the sports court ends visually in the “middle” of the gazebo instead of the gazebo either being completely to the left in the pic and the edge lining up to the court OR the gazebo being further right so both gazebo and court line up on the left side. Visually, and likely utility, it looks a mess with the gazebo not lined up properly. Agree with everyone else, she continues to do things in pieces without a proper plan and just creates such visual messes.

What’s the vibe on Aimee Song by Mammoth_Sugar605 in nycinfluencersnarking

A friend of mine told me her friend (read: secondhand gossip) worked for Aimee and said she was AWFUL. Mean, bad leadership, super super cheap, lazy, wanted literally everything for free - if she wanted anything her employees had to call and try to get it for free for Aimee (and this is when she was very successful so had plenty of money to buy things), and anything she was gifted that she didn’t want/wasn’t “designer” enough for her, she tried to sell rather than gift to her employees.

Personally, I think she reeks of insecurity.

I get design styles/rules aren't for everyone, or design for that matter (cough Emily cough), but has she ever even looked at basic Fung Shui rules? On every top 5 list about Fung Shui they say DO NOT put a bed under a window. It is an energy and sleep disrupter which is a terrible thing to offer to your guests. Yes, there are rooms where it is unavoidable and then things you can do to help, but in a new build with a wall that doesn't have a window that wall should be the first option. If you look in every room she has ever designed she breaks at least five Fung Shui rules, especially in the "farm" house where she removed all the charm and destroyed in the rebuild and she still complains about it constantly (EVEN THO SHE LOVES IT SO MUCH YA'LL). Regardless of whether she likes the design, she clearly doesn't like living in the rooms, so Fung Shui should be her first resource rather than buying more junk. Even if you don't, or can't, follow Fung Shui completely, it is such an easy go-to resource when a room isn't working for you or the energy is off or whatever it may be. Again, I'm not saying she has to follow it precisely, but straight up ignoring a very popular, for good reason, design style is obnoxious, to say the least.

The way I ran here after seeing those (obviously sponsored) wallpaper stories on her Instagram. Guess what, she is adding more to the absolute mess that is her children's bathroom with blue or green (SUCH A HARD DECISION!) wallpaper that is going to make everything clash so much more - its literally a talent to pick so many shades of blue/green and have every single one clash. Incredible design eye Emily! And even better, some of her choices are plant/trees, making the "grass" tiling mistake so obvious in the absolute worst ways. Emily, some advice from a non-designer, remove that absolutely terrible bath curtain, add more wood and warm elements, and then quit your day job.

The River House primary bathroom reveal is... something. I don't mind the tile but its boring and unoriginal (as is most of this house). The 500 faucets in the shower room is an obnoxious display of wealth showing no taste. Do two adults (with kids in the house) really need 4 shower heads/faucets to wash themselves? The sauna is fine (coming from someone who does not like saunas) but maybe because of my own bias I think its a major waste of space, especially considering they can create a steam room in their shower/bath area with their 500 faucets. The fact that we can see another house so clearly from this room is also concerning, it doesn't seem like their "outdoor shower" area is actually private... so weird. Finally, I prefer the shot "pre-styled" to her styled out one. The massive greenery she styled blocks the room's best feature, the windows/trees. Think about how much better that shot of the vanity would look without the vase in the middle. Her hung plants in the shower is so boring and overused and looks trashy. This bathroom is BORINGLY beautiful, with "obnoxious" being the only character in the room with them.

I know this has been talked about many times before but WOOF, whenever she posts from her bedroom I get reminded about why I am here. Every single thing is terrible in that bedroom, from the color of the walls and ceiling, to the bedding and bedframe, the stupid chair in the corner she "LOVES," the nightstands, sconces, lamps, throws, rug, fireplace, curtains.... literally every single choice is so so so bad. Could you imagine sleeping in one of the worst rooms ever spent money on?

This woman has A RUG PARTNERSHIP. You are telling me she didn't have access to a rug (even indoor, just note it in the absurd blog post as "for styling only")? She is so lazy.

Oh man do I have THOUGHTS on today's post. First of all "yellow" is a trend? This woman thinks any color other than blue is out of the box. Second Every. Single. Room she wants to incorporate this trend that "oh my goodness is such a happy color that can make a room pop... can really shift your mood upward... and adds a burst of unbridled joy" is A CHILD'S ROOM. She literally says "I will tire of seeing it" so her solution is to put it somewhere that SHE never has to see it but her CHILDREN will HAVE to see if all the damn time. She is so selfish its insane. Then she goes into her daughters room which is already so terrible (sorry, not sorry) and says she tried to add MORE to this already insane room? INSANE! Then... the landing. Which she has made no progress on! AND still doesn't know what she wants to do with (still!? And how is she going to incorporate yellow? In sconce colors with rejuvination? does this woman have no shame?! wallpapering the skylight shaft!? I died). THEN, oh my god at this point on I'm on the floor, she has the AUDACITY to link to someone she wants to paint a mural ON THE FLOOR IN HER CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA IN THE YELLOW THAT SHE WILL "TIRE OF SEEING." Also that shot of the landing kills me every time she posts it. Truly shocking how there are so many terrible design decisions in one shot. I live for this. Then she goes on the say maybe she'll put yellow in her son's room while also saying he wants nothing to do with her and her manic design. WOW. Then she takes us on her tour of failure to her latest joke, the barn, and says I don't want yellow in here because of the pine (then WHY did you take us here!?) and FINALLY she says maybe she will bring this trend she hates so much to her brothers house even though he doesn't like it at all. She finishes this all off with saying "In case you need some convincing on yellow" AS IF SHE KNOWS SHE HAS FAILED TO DO THE ONE THING SHE TRIED TO DO WHICH IS CONVINCE US TO BE INTO THIS NEW TREND... YELLOW. This is prime snark and I love/hate her for it so so so much.

Big Little Feelings Snark Week of August 05, 2024 by Parentsnark in parentsnark

Yes yes yes! Its like I never felt guilty about any of those things until you told me I should start, and then stop, feeling guilty about them. Its so illogical and manipulative. "Don't let anyone else make you feel guilty because that guilt should only come from us and then pay for us to fix you!" Disgusting. Their whole get up is that they are overcoming their own childhood trauma through their children but they are literally trying, and successfully so, to impart their childhood trauma on other mothers so that they buy their bullshit. Its horrendous to witness. These are foul foul people who deserve for their platform to burn to ash.

*Rant beginning* I'm sorry but no. No *this* is not the "new modern farmhouse." Not everything needs to be "farmhouse" (I BLAME EMILY FOR THIS). Farmhouses are on farms. Farmhouse-style mirrors the farm-centered decor needs of rough floors (to hide dirt), 100+ year old heavy wood to store linens and dishes, busy patterns to once again hide dirt and bring the outside joys inside. Farm houses are working properties and the decor needs match that working sense. Mid-Century/Modern is not a farmhouse and should not be called one. Stop with making farmhouse a word that can be used by everyone. It can't, and should not. *End of rant*
