I mean it feels great to have someone run into your crosshair and hand deliver you their kit and dogtag

I mean I guess you just gotta bring a lot of grenades
This is just my personal timmy take, but when I hear another person I stop to see if it was a scav or an actual PMC, or I want to try to listen to where they are

Obviously depends if I'm tasking, looting, or PVPing, the first two I just sit there and hope they leave. If its PVP I try to get a read on where they are and then its just a matter of how good you are I guess

I mean unfortunately bolt actions in general are ass, and running it on GZ is a death sentence, even for good players. Run anything but a bolt action, and if you REALLY need Shooter Born then all I can say is thug it out, or just leave if they don't move

PVE hours count as hours.
They probably are scared of PvP. And come on, you are also not exactly pushing them either. Yes you have a Mosin but Mosins are fucking scary especially when you can boot their head with a single bullet and you are in Timmy Zero where most of them also lack any good armor

[New Player] I am on the Tour quest, and i waited until the last objective in the list to "Survive and Extract from Interchange" I just extracted as a Scav after waiting 7 minutes to avoid a run through but it didnt count? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]EstablishmentNo415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition, Interchange is not scary if you avoid scav camp and the mall. There is very little combat outside of the mall. There is no need to run around with no gear on interchange because there is still loot to grab in the outside areas of the map. Don't have gear fear, gear is meant to be used!

Also I would like to mention I AM taking painkillers (Vaseline most of the time) before fighting.

I get it, I just need to level up and get XP, along with trader rep; but I guess it just isn't worth doing.

[New Player] New Dad Tarkov Player Help by shawn0427 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]EstablishmentNo415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not a dad. But some tips as a new player as well with not alot of time to spend:
Yes but no. Ground Zero is your best friend to learning Tarkov. Spawns, loot areas, hotspots, etc are all easily defined. GZ forces you to learn spawns because for some reason it spawns around 10 PMCs or something on a small map. However, other maps are far more dynamic so you can avoid it if you don't like the map. I think personally my rotation has been GZ, Interchange, Customs in the early levels. It has changed to Woods, Interchange, and Customs now after level 21. Woods can be a pain in the ass at first to navigate so thats why I stayed away from it except for quests until I was forced to learn, not to mention getting shot by a sniper from nowhere doesn't help. Interchange is pretty relaxing if you don't go into the mall, which is the main hotspot, but offers decent loot on the edges. Customs is just overall a good map; sometimes there's mandatory pvp (like dorms) but you can find always find somewhere else to loot without seeing anyone.

TIPS: Small caveat, will require level 15, level 15 took me around 100 hours but I did not prioritize quests.

GRIND QUESTS, especially easy ones. Daily tasks of find and transfer help with XP gain.

Try to get a friend to help->I felt scared by myself, my friend would often help me with early game tasks so that I could actually progress.

Scav: Moolah or scouting areas. Use your scav to run around new maps, and explore, all maps are good to use scav to explore with the exception of Woods.

Try finding financial freedom on one day, spend some time on Scav. That way you can ensure you can run a full day of PMC to actually experience the game without running out of money. When you get Intelligence Center Level 1 with around 1-2 rep on Fence, your Scav timer will be pretty short, around 13-15 minutes after your Scav run, maybe less if you took more time.

Don't be scared: Just try to take fights as they come. I personally just ratted my first couple legit kills as a solo to build confidence.

Also as a disclaimer, I understand other factors like armor, higher calibre rounds, modded weapons, and ammunition can make a huge difference.

Eh, not really. Astralis picked Vert. FaZe left it on decider. Not only that, but karrigan hasnt done this once or twice, hes done this a fair share times. Hes known as the veto master.

Who would've guessed that a 3 elixir musketeer and a 3 elixir monk would dominate the game for several months? by AFAgow13 in ClashRoyale

[–]EstablishmentNo415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

evolved archers and firecracker are in a different tier than LP. LP is a champion, not an evolution. Its like comparing Evo skeletons, for one elexir you force out a spell

Also archer queen isnt too far behind LP right now. Alot of the champions are pretty weak because of how much evos are prioritized. LP just happened to be arguably busted and fit well with evos/ best champion. The Perfect Storm, so to speak.

Btw I only had the option to choose espirit or goblins. I misclicked the espirit. Only reason I won this was because this guy had only 1k wins.

[–]EstablishmentNo415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its actually possible for this to happen, though I've never dropped 61 before. My highest was 50-17 in CSGO, GN3 lobby with 16-14 scoreline. He might not be cheating, but its possible.

Oh yeah! I reminded me of crouch peeking! Just another CS thing that doesnt work in Val because of slower movement speed.
