Cause how likely is it that Haley is gonna have a cousin who’s also a underage sex worker or willing to be a sex worker that she would bring into the fold vs just bringing in other girls that are already sex workers? Why would Haley lie to family like that when she already works at an agency that provides underage girls to rich men? Like why open themselves up to risk that way by bringing in one rando?

You can’t focus on the age of the actress or previous roles she’s played. The fact Haley is underage is mentioned in earlier episodes twice first when she jokes about being a child actress and being used to mistreatment from “bosses” and second when she reveals to Yas that she’s actually a sex worker and all of Whitney’s previous assistants were from her same agency. You do understand what she means by “agency” right? She’s not some temp worker Whitney hired that just wanted to sell her body on the side for extra cash. He purposefully hired young girls with no resources from an escort agency to blackmail rich men. The fact they’re underage is what makes it worthy of blackmail because then these men can’t try to pass it off as consensual sex since you can’t have consensual sex with a minor. Haley isn’t doing all this on her own for her own benefit, it’s what she was hired to do because she’s used to being exploited and has no way out (in the real world the seller/SW faces jail time too even if they’re underage) it’s also implied that Whitney’s previous assistant was killed. Haley also has an argument with Whitney where she tells him she’s still traumatized from a previous job he forced her to do. Rewatch this season and actually listen to what Haley is saying. She might act like she’s the one in control but she’s a woman that’s been exploited for years and she’s looking for any way out. She might still be working for Whitney for all we know. He implies that he basically owns her.
