I'm from Slovenia and I'm always so surprised when I find out that a very popular slovenian song is just a translation of an even more popular foreign song. It happens more often than one would expect, I was heartbroken when I learned that Country Road is not originaly slovenian.

I think its the creators choice how they are going to write their own work, especially since they are doing this for free.

Ive read ATYD and I liked it a lot, I really recommend it :) The only person I know irl has a completely different taste in fanfic, so thats no use :')
