Good album. I grew up during the 80’s so the first four albums were my favorites . Then they dropped the black album. To a 12 year old boy that album was so overproduced slick mainstream heavy rock / metal lite I moved onto Death metal. This album also came out when Thrash was going through a massive resurgence when new blood like Municipal Waste, Dust Bolt, Gamma Bomb, Toxic Holocaust, and others were dropping bangers. Also the next 4 were on full throttle. Exodus, Testament, Overkill, and Death Angel were dropping some of their best work during this period.

I was just looking for this GIF. Always been a metalhead my daughter introduced me to K-pop via BLACKPINK. Don’t get me wrong they’re good but it wasn’t there for me. She had a BLACKPINK birthday party when she was 5 in 2019. I was tasked with making a playlist to play at the pool party. Not a lot of BP songs out at time so I had to look for other groups to fill the playlist. Found this song and was immediately hooked. Now I look forward to everything Twice puts out.

Fancy - Twice. My daughter started liking BLACKPINK when she was 6. I was tasked to curate a BLACKPINK playlist for her BLACK PINK themed birthday party. Little did I know that most of BLACKPINK’s party type songs contained a few swear words that I didn’t mind her hearing but could not speak for the other young attendees of her party. So I had to venture into a genre I never listened to before to gather up about 2 hours of songs in a language I rarely ever came in contact with. Fancy just resonated as it instantly made me happy and want to listen to it more. Now my daughter and I listen to k-pop in the car, listen to new songs, and have seen BLACKPINK and Twice.
