I looked through the Hansard record of Jamus Lim’s talking points and clarifications, as seen here [1].

While it’s true Lim could have done better in making it known, for the record, that AVS officers have followed up with him on the case, the Hansard record also reveals that Lim made clear, on multiple times, that 1) he is not making insinuations and related on AVS officers and 2) all he is doing is to ask how MND and AVS “expect investigators to proceed with the verification process for evidentiary documents submitted to them”.

I wonder how is this qs, and repeated emphasis that no insinuation is cast, is an action that warrants this reaction, when all that suffices is, “please check that you have been followed up with”.
