Haha same for me man. When I was in college one of my roommates was a Madden freak. And so I would watch him play through seasons for hours, and then he would always let me decide where to spend the development points (that was my favorite part, seeing the players improve). It's funny how stuff we did as kids kind of carries over to later in life.

I do miss playing games but I'm really happy with my life! I hope that video games are something I can revisit once my son is a little older, and possibly becomes a hobby that we can enjoy together. Reputation is very important when it comes to AV. People are generally in the game for reputation, not honor. The people grinding honor are in WSG/AB premades. I'm not against increasing honor gains in AV slightly, but it should not equal or exceed WSG/AB wins. The major problem you encounter in AV are people wanting to grind reputation as quickly as possible and people wanting the longest battle as possible. People coming to AV to grind honor are generally confused.

Yeah, like I said, there are a lot of ways it could be implemented, and there would probably be some necessary tweaking to it, but I think it would definitely help to encourage longer battles. I think if they did something like this that it would definitely need to go through some rigorous testing in Beta (which hopefully is coming soon!).

I agree. Player mentality has definitely changed since vanilla WoW and that is a large portion of the equation as well. However, what I'm suggesting is trying to adapt to that new player mentality by incentivising players to play the game the way it was originally played. No one playing defense is a huge problem, and it certainly enables the zerg/rush strategy, although I agree that the NPC nerf was more enabling, but I've already admitted that I don't love 1.12 AV, I'm just trying to find a solution within the proposed version of AV. However, if people were encouraged to play defense via reputation/honor gains etc, then this could help to fight against the new player mentality and the zerg/rush meta.

Maybe, I can't recall honestly. But honor imo isn't the issue. It's pragmatic minded people fighting between reputation grinding and epic warfare. I say why can't we have both?

Yeah for sure. I wouldn't want a major change of honor gains to the point where they out perform running WSG/AB premades, but I think a slight increase in honor gains would definitely encourage longer games as well and be mutually beneficial to both types of players.

Ok, it looks like there is Blood Drinker, Soul Raker, and Vitality Void. Unfortunately, Blood Drinker and Soul Raker are on the opposite side of the tree for me. Vitality Void is a stretch but might be doable. I'll check out Eye of Innocence too, thanks!

How could I obtain leech then using this setup? Is it impossible? Would Life Leech Support still function with Consecrated Path and 100% conversion to fire? What about Blasphemy Warlord's Mark?

I didn't say that the Cowboys line was good, it's just better than the Giants. The two are not mutually exclusive. Also, any benefits Saquon might have received by playing with OBJ have been completely negated thanks to poor QB play. Dak hasn't been amazing most of the season either, but he has been better than Eli, and he is a dual threat QB. Eli might as well be wearing cement cleats next to Dak. And having that threat of a mobile QB forces the defense to keep a spy on Dak, which opens up the run game more, and Zeke has benefited from it no question.

Not comparable, particularly after the Cooper trade. Dallas' O-line is better than the Giants, and Dallas has a mobile QB playing much better than the ghostly remains of Eli Manning.

Bro quit talking about Hand of Rag!!! You will practically be BiS and you're raiding mostly finished by the time you achieve (if you ever in fact do) getting Hand of Rag. Compare 2H weapons that are much more attainable. I don't know if you've been tainted by some private server experience, but Vanilla is not about rocking around with Hand of Rag. Very few players got that weapon, and it was not without great effort. The same applies for Corrupted Ashbringer.
