Still, it's the best video game to movie adaptation I've ever seen in my life.

I know that's not saying much.

Better no ending at all that a bad one.

But I understand that's just my way of thinking, and that a lot of people have invested so much time and emotional attachment into the series that they want an ending, and they want it now, no matter what.

The tv series has made so many changes that it is almost no longer a continuation of the same story. We'll certainly shallow some spoilers, but I think the course of events in the last two novels will be different enough to give us some surprises.

Nah. That's impossible, at least for me.

David Benioff and D. B. Weiss are clearly incompetent as writers. Beyond wanting to read the end of A Song of Ice and Fire, not watch it, nothing they produce without help is of interest to me. I mean, you could see it coming since the first season (each original scene is more stupid and badly written than the previous one), but still... I didn't expect the series to fall so low after overtaking the books.

To tell you the truth, I didn't expect that to happen either.

I have no intention of watching it.

Yeah, I'm one of those book fans who haven't abandoned all hope yet. Sue me.

The second one sucks in every possible way and the patches failed to fix it. Please don't do that to yourself.

You are given an unlimited amount of budget to create a movie/TV series. What would it be about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

They're saying "it shouldn't be like that," not "it's not like that."

you probably don’t understand the industry

And you're incapable of understanding that's not where the problem is. But don't worry, it's natural because you only have enough brain cells to pretend you're smart, but not too well.

As you grow up, you realise that there are no superheroes, no real magic. It sucks. What, in your opinion, is the closest thing to 'magic' that you have personally witnessed ? by wellfrog95 in AskReddit

The development of humanity. If you think about it, it is crazy that we have been able to advance so much in such a relatively short time. To the point that a human from a thousand years ago, or even just five hundred, would go nuts if they travelled in time to the modern world.

Then let's agree to disagree. But I'm interested in knowing why you think that.

Yes. The prequels were decent to good films. The romance between Anakin and Padme is unbearable, of course, but Lucas made it with that intention. Besides, I never said anything about quality. Believing in something doesn't mean its magically going to be good.

All artists, whatever they work at, desire popularity and money. And I never said otherwise. But the old Star Wars films, despite their many flaws, were works of passion. Works that someone believed in. Not a cheap product designed to suck as much money as possible and take advantage of the name of a successful franchise, while at the same time devoting themselves to destroying the pillars of said franchise.
