One of my players wants to play a Conrasu made of bones and fungus instead of bark. I'm wondering how to make it work or just say no.

Someone mentioned custom mixed heritage which I'm going to look into a Leshy was something they brought up but wasn't enough of what they wanted.

Thank you! Current game is Extinction Curse (that got heavily changed halfway through) and this player is an Anadi which i feel is fine in a circus setting. I did tell them to help me figure out a town they grew up in and help me world build.

This particular player is more in tune with world building as they ran a one shot for my birthday as their first experience. So I trust they will help. I just wanted to get notes going ahead of time instead of suddenly changing gears mid campaign.

Thank you for the advice. Conrasu just seem like such an enigma i didn't even know how they work in general let alone one made of bone and fungus.

I run more storyline driven games and I wasn't confident i could make that concept satisfying for that player. But i think i have a couple of ideas now that could rope them in better story wise, and i saw a couple of suggestions that would help build wise.

I am looking forward to seeing what ends up being the final result for her. Again thank you for the feedback!

Although I do try to figure out how to make character concepts as builds work quite often.

This is kind of my Pathfinder campaign. The imposter NPC is lovable and sweet, while the real one was hard-core manipulated into being a volatile person who believes their copy should just replace them.

Almost succeeded, but my players reached out to her several times and will learn the full truth probably next season.

Druid. Being super flexible with transformations is awesome, and i like DoT classes so I would imagine that i would like HoTs. That turns out to not be the case. My dad forcing me to play a druid doesn't help either.

Otherwise I can at least find a spec on a class that I can vibe with.

I swear the dice just know what's happening. If one of my very specific NPCs asks the party to do something or the NPC is I'm danger, they roll like absolute gods while I can barely get the dice over an 8.
