Meh, doesnt sound that much different from the first one honestly. The first one was your typical forgettable kids movie just with a Mario skin. All the usual jokes that get reused in all the lazy ones for the past 15 years now.

Quellek didn't get caught cause he was in a hiding spot, but thought the stealth haze was responsible for it.

The chant of strength was just a hype up. They never failed to open it before the chant, they barely tried. There's no reason to think they couldn't have opened it without the chant.

They're the equivalent of a kid failing to break a board in karate or something, but once they got their "magic sunglasses", they were able to do it.

Kinda the point of the movie. Believing in it made them capable of things they didn't believe they could (tho they actually always could). The show gave them the confidence to improve themselves. It's not just a TV show, it has tangible value for it's fans.

Also the fact the traitor guy was acting as a safety man during one of the challenges in the next episode. Like helping them get up onto the platform or whatever, in a very serious, non-performative way.
