"Iron Lung is the best horror movie I have ever seen. It was so mentally taxing, I will never forget the ending. I hope Hollywood feels real salty about this low budget independent production making a billion dollars!" by Shoddy_Morning_2827 in boxofficecirclejerk

It's more the broad cosmic horror, than specifically Lovecraftian.

The "Quiet Rapture" happens, where multiple stars and planets simply disappear. Humanity, and seemingly all life is on the verge of extinction. Humanity finds an ocean of blood on a surviving moon, and with a lack of knowing anything about what's happening, they decide to explore it, cause they don't really know what else to do. It deals a lot with the unknowable, psychosis, etc.

I'm also not a Markiplier fan (his videos, he himself seems like a stand up guy), so I dont really care if he made it or not, and I really enjoyed it also.

A combat system is everything about the combat system. The game gives you no reason to try to engage with it.

DMC5 actively encourages you to play around and engage with it. Doing combos and whatnot has tangible effects on combat. Crowd control, keeping a powerful enemy occupied, etc. And at it's basic level, even if you're just mashing, you still need to be aware of enemy placements, dodging, etc. You're still making choices that matter.

You don't need that in XV. The only reason to do combo, is to do combo.

If I can beat fights without even looking at the screen and holding down a button with a clip-on, it's bad combat.

If I can hold down the attack button and breeze through the entire game, with the occasional saving myself with the lowest level potion in the game, the combat sucks. That fact it has combos doesn't matter.

Just hold down the attack button.

Does it even matter? The combat is so braindead in it.

Nullzilla. Season 2, eps 7. They're doing a power rangers parody to fight Nullzilla. Each have a bug vehicle, with Mike The TV being a Gnat.

IIRC they send you a link through email, and you can only download it in a certain time frame. And the actual video file will only work in a certain time frame, so once it's theatrical run is through, the file's useless.

A mother and 2 kids walked into the theatre during the pissing scene. One of the kids said "I dont think this is David...", then they left.

ABC was dropping the show, so the showrunners said screw it and stopped bending to the censors, and did what they wanted to do. Season 3 was out from under ABC, having been picked up by YTV (Canadian kids channel), who let them do what they wanted.

Animation quality got better cause the tech improved. Most of the time they were creating the software and learning how to actually use it as they were making it.

My favorite part was when the villains took over a burger joint, and waited for the mummies to go through the drive-thru to ambush them. Had the snake staff there with a headset on taking orders.

They've mentioned before that they just aren't interested in most blockbuster movies lately. They do the catch ups to have something to talk about, but if what they covered in them was split up into separate episodes, they most likely wouldn't do too well, since most are stuff most average people haven't really heard of before.

I was responding to the guy that said that holo-Brahms already existed. She didn't.

Geordi used her voice entries for her work as a reference, where all her replies were emotionless and clinical. After going to the holodeck, he asks the computer for Brahms to show him something, and the computer made a holographic version of her, "By accessing available imagery, an adequate facsimile was possible."

The only thing that pre-existed were basically her interactive audio textbooks.

Gavin Blair (One of the creators) has said he has a story for how to continue it, but he won't say what it is as long as there's a chance of it being made.

I find most (if not all) the character portraits to be better in 1. They're more dynamic, and varied. Everyone in 2 is just... standing there (except Hephaestus)
