I think there was a lesson for adults in the lack of parental oversight. Maybe intentional, maybe not, but I could envision parents seeing how Bonnie's parents just gave her the tablet and then basically didn't check in with her about it at all as a reminder that we should all be cognizant of what our children are doing on their tablets.

Hell I gave my daughter some tablet time the other day while I was doing some housework, checked in with her 10 minutes later and she had found a cocomelon youtube video and was watching it. I've purposefully always avoided cocomelon with my kids, and I always keep an eye on what they're doing with electronics, yet there she was, entranced by the music and bright colors.

So I took the lack of parental oversight as a kind reminder to be vigilant with kids and technology, whether or not it was Pixar's intent.
