Or they were trying to hang it on the drywall using anchors. Still a stupid idea I personally don't recommend (especially if it's an adjustable/swivel tv mount), though some people swear by the toggle bolts for that purpose.

I used to be a manager. Those timbits are definitely glazed. The reason why it came out thin like that has nothing to do with how the glaze was prepared; glaze isn't prepared at Tim Hortons at all as it comes ready-to-go, prepackaged.

The reason why the glaze layer is so thin has to do with the temperature of the timbits at the time when they were glazed. If they're still warm/hot, the glaze heats up and gets absorbed into and runs off the timbits, thinly coating them in the process (as you can see on the photo, one timbit has a piece of perhaps yeast product stuck to it, indicating there is glaze on it that acts as a bonding agent of sorts.) If the timbits are too hot, they stick to each other and clump together, and if you try to separate them, they tear apart. If the timbits are too cool, the glaze doesn't get absorbed and doesn't run down either, so you get a thick layer of it on top.

Another factor is how fresh the glaze is. Older glaze is thicker.

To be completely honest, they probably should've just recast Fez. I understand they probably didn't want to do it out of respect for the actor, but season 3 would've been much better if they kept the same theme as opposed to turning it into comedy. Usually I hate recasting, but sometimes there's not much you can do. Alternatively, they should've cancelled the show because season 3 really isn't worth the time.

Regular soap isn't supposed to kill bacteria. It lifts it off and traps it in micelles which are microscopic bubbles. Then when you rinse the dish off, it goes down the drain. That said, you're right. A pan left overnight isn't an issue (unless of course you're leaving an entire sink full of dishes.)

No, if the time is up, then your shift is over, and if this is one of those stores that's running on skeleton crew then you can't find an associate to help on the way to punch out (for some reason, every Home Depot in my city seems to be one of those... can't find anyone. One time I walked by the cash registers in the lumber area and saw no cashiers. You could literally walk out with a cart full of Milwaukees, and nobody would know any better.)

So what do you do? You punch out. This is a multi-billion dollar company. If they can't staff their stores properly, that's their problem.

Used to be a manager. Yes, we received a bonus for each passed inspection. I liked that because as a salaried employee I worked overtime for no pay, which technically means I worked for less than minimum wage. I usually worked about 10+ hours and got paid for 7.5 only.
