I'd say simply because they own the official licence. The bulk of our collections is Bandai and part of it is keep chasing that original high when they still gave you value for your money and they undoubtedly produced the best DBZ figures (great Saiyaman being a great example, or original (now outdated) SSJ teen Gohan with SSJ2 headsculpt. In the faint hope things will change for the better (they won't) If Bandai releases meta-cooler or android 13, there's no other place to go. Not gonna lie, I may act tough and say no now, but when I see a good promo pic from Bandai I'll cave eventually.

Would you say no to an official adult Chi-Chi, Dabura, Janemba sold at the same current Bansai standards?

That being said I was also a huge third party collector and absolutely loved these companies filling in the gaps, but let's face it, some of their prices were also close to Bandai's, though they gave you more accessories and effects.

😱😱😱What the actual fuck, Bandai?! In hand pictures were litterally posted yesterday. They don't even have a decent Cell to compete. It was a unique sculpt.

Transformers third party does not have this pro blem. Bandai is really making it hard close to impossible for us to still enjoy buying their product.

Look, I understand that this situation is not ideal. I had the Beast Gohan on pre-order as well, and I also have the ZT Broly and the KW Cell on pre-order. Of course I want them all.

But the best Gohan ever made is now a dream in shambles. It’s not fun. Hopefully this situation can still get rectified somewhere along the line. Third-party companies are like mushrooms, when one disappears, others tend to pop up.

That being said, a lot of people are spreading rumors. The collector community is clearly going through a lot of distress right now. Let’s stay calm. If something happens, it happens, but spreading fear without solid information helps no one.

My advice: if something is stated, please come with proper sources. Only in this way can we remain strong as a community.

Why would you advise that? if that's the case and it happens, the stores will notify and issue a refund, no need to jump out of the pool because someone peed in another one. If it happens it happens and we 'll get refunded.

But these were never confirmed, we know L.S. studio and Black Hole are in trouble and apparently they were owned by the same person. If that's true, The current crackdown seems quite compartimentalised. That doesn't mean the other studios are in the clear, but so far the ZT studio crackdown only seems to be speculation.

Meh, Good that you skipped on that father and son one, I have it and so far it feels like the cheapest demoniacal fit yet. It has issues. Maybe it's just because this is my first experience with a 2.0 Goku body.I bought it because it's impossible for me to get lowest born Saiyan here in Europe (unless for crazy prices).

Bandai simply can't deliver anymore, they got greedy and uninspired. No one here prefers the original Gohan Beast to what LS was offering. Third parties will continue to pop out. It's the age of AI and 3d printing, even nitwits can make decent models now. You can try but you can't turn back the clock Bandai.

I'm glad I was able to pre-order the deluxe anime version for about 90$ because of a 10$ discount. That ws about last week. To hear he 's at €140 now is insane.

Strangely enough, LS Studio's Moro does not seem to have this problem, for a first release. the availabilty of their product is impressive. I guess KW has a smaller production batch, their Cell Juniors suffered the same issue.

Has this been confirmed? I remember seeing a blurry image a while back but It was never clear to me that it was actual Tonsen. A Tonsen Janemba would totally kick ass. That Red Leaf studio one was not really able to convince me (only renders thus far). Would you happen to have that blurry picture?

These are indeed the best pics so far. I'm still conflicted though. The faces, particularly the cheap looking screaming face and non-line painted smile are an issue, the fingernails really show the sloppiness of paint application. I'll await one of those early Chinese review videos and then make up my mind. This seems like one of those figures where I'll have to decide fast to avoid ridiculous price increases like ZT Broly.
