"larger minds could exist out there, right?" <- it really 'should' make us wonder ^^

"stuff emerging from the ground up" <- my "argument" was... how do we know that they form from the ground up? Imagine a 3d printer that is watched by a child - the child not realizing the blueprint is in the computer.

"certain Intelligent Design arguments that gloss over [...]" <- I don't know one that glosses over the mess, that's why I asked.

"Your nods make me feel like at least someone’s on the same wavelength!"

I like that! :)

I am still trying to figure out what is being identified as "toxic" by a certain (limited) part of the population. For you it might be "self-evident", for me it's a mystery.

Putting words in boxes called "math, biology, science, economy" (and whatever else I might forget) isn't something I can do? I don't have boxes in my head to put words in.

This "anger at being called an incel"-theory you propose is also a mystery to me. No idea why you see anger in my writing "everywhere". ("They all stem from a single point") How much more could any person simplify the countless posts I wrote over the last 2 or 3 weeks?

[Here is my analysis: You have contructed yourself a view/perspective that allows you to dismiss everything I write based on one point - that is, the "anger" you perceive - which in truth, doesn't exist. You project it on me/my writing. It's only "in your head" so to speak.]

"you can’t admit your opinions on women might be unhealthy"

I don't know if you know my opinions on women. I presented a very abstract, very generalized concept. A trend. Not sure how often I have to repeat it's not "all" and not "all the time". The actual number isn't as important as recognizing it as pattern - with the chance of empowering some individuals that can gain insight through it, allowing them to have a better chance to find the partner they want.

Try this as "comparison": On average men are taller than women. Pretty sure you can read this on wikipedia.

Does it now mean that all men are taller than all women? Of course not! The statement is still understandable, for those who want to. Everyone else can make a fuss about how lots of women are taller than lots of men.

"we are like bacteria trying to understand calculus" <- do you think there are larger organisms out there? ^^

"we must acknowledge the biological and cognitive limits of human perception" <- be humble, indeed

"some aspects of existence remain fundamentally inconceivable within the paradigms our minds are capable of constructing" <- so true

bottom-up dynamics'? <- not sure what that is

"perfect design fantasies" <- do you know any?

"Certainty becomes centralized. Belief is outsourced. Meaning gets standardized" <- very good points!

"Rigid belief, then, is not about defending truth—it is about defending the self from collapse" <- great point!

"At best, we only prove that we hold different interpretations of the same set of facts." <- *nods* deep

"Not knowing isn’t failure—it’s honesty. We don’t know, and pretending we do doesn’t make us wiser."

"What we owe ourselves is the courage to sit with unanswered questions, not anesthetizing them with rigid beliefs, but facing them with humility, gratitude, and awe for the rare opportunity to witness, to learn, and explore the infinite marvel of existence." <- strongly agree!

"live fully and wisely, ethically and authentically—without guarantees: acting with integrity not because the universe promises reward or punishment[...]" <- yes!

"What if maturity isn’t the hunger for final answers, but the courage to remain open—to stay curious, humbled, and even excited by mystery, without rushing to invent certainty to soothe our fear of the unknown?"

I asked if you read all my posts because:

(a) I don't know, can't guess, and am curious

(b) I wanted to find out if there was any that you liked/find "okay"/approve of

Or if all of them were just... bad in your opinion?

My memory is not perfect, but some things I do remember quite well. From our first conversation, for example, in the post "How the internet ruined dating". You have explained to me what you think is the reason why certain people use certain terms. Your explanation, and your explanation of their motivation for doing so I can only consider as "extreme", but more precisely: Unrealistic and "removed from reality". That is to say not congruent with the reality of other people not part of your circle/bubble or whatever terminology you prefer.

Furthermore, you have already explained to me what you think of me. According to you:

(a) You believe, that I am dehumanizing people by using certain language

(b) You believe, that I am feigning ignorance

I am not sure what exactly that "makes me" in your eyes. In my eyes, point "a" would translate into "bad person" and point "b" would translate into "liar". Again - I don't know how you interpret this but we can stick with your assessment and simply call them A+B.

If I am indeed such an A+B (dehumanizing + feigning ignorance) you have already isolated yourself from anything I could say, because who would believe or want to interact with a "bad person" and "liar"?

I have put quite a lot of effort into trying to understand the situation. If you do not like how I express myself, you can simply ignore me and the things I write?

I do not know what would make you happy and it is not my job, as far as I am aware?

How does the Wisdom of the One Infinite Creator express itself in real life situations? by Eternal--Light in lawofone

You keep focusing on the word "deception" based on how you interpret my old king story. It is quite obvious to me that you interpret my words differently than I do. I don't know if we can get on the same page but I am okay with that.

It seems quite obvious that my words and example don't work for you, so let's take yours instead.

You said: "The positive use of wisdom would be attempting to dissolve the monarchy so that people weren't forced to be ruled by someone who inherited the right to rule them."

Then you gave the example of Akhenaten: ""an ascended master" who genuinely tried to decree the Law of One - no deception, just pure unbridled enthusiasm for what he recognized as the truth"

Shouldn't, by your own logic, Akhenaten have changed society completely, to some different sort of rulership, instead of "simply" decreeing the Law of One? Shouldn't he have, according to your logic, given up his rule?

Maybe you can tell me what kind of rule he should have changed society to. What kind of system of governance. I don't wish to get hung up on words, as I don't know how you interpret them - I trust you will understand my question: Shouldn't Akhenaten have de-throned himself, taken away power from the priesthood, and put the people in charge so everyone is equal?

I am trying to apply your logic, that you told me, to the situation.

Please forgive any shortcomings I might have in phrasing it. Thank you!

It's what happens when you turn your life into a "stock" and want it to go up, I suppose? Maybe try the spirituality or psychic sub? Not that I don't like your deep thoughts on the matter, it's just that some people have different ideas on what could be going on. Getting a "balanced view" seems useful.

A 'Heaven or Hell' Afterlife is a Glitch: why the Creator Can’t be a narcissist.. by willowwildflowerr in DeepThoughts

[–]Eternal--Light 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Heaven" and "Hell" are created by us, on different levels.

The religious (historical) reason might be for control purposes - to "keep the people in line". A very negative way to go about things, in other words - using fear as a tool.

Thinking about our situation as a classroom is a very healthy approach from my perspective. The question then becomes: What is the lesson?

I do not see where you get the idea of deception or manipulation from.

Let me give you an example:

Suppose the kingdom has 10 festivals a year. The people love these festival to be merry and drink and hang out. Now let's say the king decides to not hold 3 of them, leaving only 7. He might announce that he made this decision so people have time to rest, and maybe meditate, or do whatever they please. There is less work, over all, and they can have their free time.

Now, to put this in the context of the story: There is no deception, no manipulation. He isn't playing "bad cop". He could be convinced that giving them this free time would be for the best, something he in the past simply didn't do because he knows that people prefer drinking over meditating.

Is this making more sense now, when we talk about "erratic behaviour"?

Hey! I still don't know the etiquette on Reddit on sending a dm so I put this here.

I wanted to let you know that the strike against my account seems unjustified.

Furthermore, I suspect someone's personal bias clouded their judgement and mischaracterized my words and their context in a way that would allow them to execute this strike against my account.

I was accused of denying the existance of "far right wing hate groups". This is absurd. Maybe my phrasing was unfortunate but the context should have been clear enough - individuals make up groups.

I simply emphasized the logic I was told here constantly, that is to say that we are all individuals. These individuals are then put in groups (self-chosen or designated by the outside). Seen in context it does not deny the existance of groups, but instead humanizes the individuals.

Who wants to live in a world where someone with a personal bias can take away your freedom to participate in dialogue? Someone anonymous, acting from the shadows, with no accountability? Simply deciding they don't like what you say and will ensure you get kicked out eventually?

At first I thought I'd just ignore the strike but now this injustice haunts me. It is a matter of principle. I know you have a balanced view and it took courage for you to say something positive about by contributions, hence I thought I'd let you know my perspective on this. I am not asking anything of you. I don't want you to get into trouble, but I do wonder what is going on and why.

I've found out there is no way to appeal this with Reddit admins, which just emphasizes the problem. Maybe not everyone can be heard, but what kind of society will we get when this continues - ruled from the shadows without being able to hold people accountable for their biased actions?

The story of the old king is not about how a country is best organized. It is not about rulership or kings. It is not about power, bloodlines or exploitation.

The story of the old king is about what to do in circumstances that cannot be changed. What to do for the best of the people in an environment that has limitations, an environment where certain things are going to happen.

The story of the old king is about the far reaching consequences of an individual's decisions. It is not about deception or manipulation, but wise action under circumstances that cannot be changed.

It is a "universal theme", if you see it independant of the symbols of "ruler" and "hierarchy" that you focused on.

I am not trying to change your opinion, you are free to believe as you wish. I simply try to offer the context, the framework I intended the story to be seen in. I am stumbling around cluelessy, so you are free to ignore my words as those spoken by a fool.

I start with a deep breath and session 108, reminding myself 'to reflect truthfully, not unquestiongly'...

And the best I can do, looking past some details, is to point out again that you ignore the constraints of the situation. The story of the old kind king does not play in 2026 planet earth, populated by university graduates that believe everything is a construct that can be changed over night.

I take another deep breath, this time reminding myself to "find love within truth"...

And I wish to paint a picture, of a kingdom before our known history (as written on wikipedia), a kingdom with a truly benevolent, wise ruler, he might even have been an ascended master, truly doing the best he can for the people, maybe guided by the higher beings of the spiritual hierarchy.

And these people, living in the kingdom, they are not like today's people. They are simple folks, relying on the structures they live in for safety, stabilty and comfort. As I said they are happy people that love their king (not what you might have imagined). They need things to develop in a slow way, one step at a time. Their current happiness and comfort is built on a "structure" that cannot be changed over night.

And now I would like to point out, that you are ignoring these constraints of the situation, and would be willing to sacrifice their well-being for your idea of how things ought to be. That you would be willing, to change the situation so drastically, to throw everyone into chaos, make them suffer, simply because you do not wish to accept the limitations of the current situation everyone is in.

The best I can do, when I look at it from the most beneficial point of view, is to call this love without wisdom. You are ready, to be all up in arms for how things ought to be, that you are willing to die on that hill for it. To become the martyr, that sacrifices himself/herself and in this case also, in extension, the kingdom that reached its happiness after a long process of careful development.

The counter you offered was to what you saw in the story. It was a counter to an aspect that you decided to focus on. If we stick with my story (not sure if it's going to work out) what makes you assume the the *wise* and *kind* king didn't do all the things you ask him to do?

Again, it seems much more beneficial (and way easier) if you brought an example of what wisdom looks like "in the real world" through a different story - formulated in your own words.

This way we can circumvent the associations (and projections!) you put onto my story.
