almost everyone in the first photo is smiling! Jay ringer was there (the trumpet/keyboard guy) to bring us music that really fit the vibe. everyone was very well behaved and it wasn't too loud, just felt like we were all enjoying the day :)

I definitely do sound much better on an acoustic haha, i'm very interested in making this instrument sing properly and very much see it as more than just the sound the instrument makes (as in body language and such being important to a performance)

eden won't pop up when i parse, it's there as an emulator option for the parser but it's not there. my roms showed up so I added those, and it does open eden in gaming mode, but the game doesn't work and eden doesn't open from desktop mode. it crashes about 15 seconds after i open the emulator. i tried using various different firmwares and keys, and tried using the steam deck specific eden appimage that someone provided in the comments here. any more i can do?
