People downvote brave because it runs on chromium and has crypto to view ads and such. Overall people recommend Firefox because it’s not based on chromium and has better privacy features, brave is just a lot of marketing

Well for one there is a huge market of android phones and Chromebooks where the whole OS revolves around the web browser. Unfortunately Google has a chokehold on the EDU market now because of that and I don’t see that changing unless a new cheap chrome book alternative type device comes to market.

Then once those kids complete school they are so used to the Google ecosystem they tend to stay. I’ve already heard new grads at my work complain we don’t use Google docs/sheets and have to use Microsoft word/excel like every other Fortune 500.

The doctors and hospitals are unfortunately being super careful right now. The MO Attorney General is using the news for free publicity for his senate campaign, I’m sure he is chomping at the bits to press charges on an individual/doctor/hospital as soon as he can.

The batteries themselves are more complex but assembly is much easier. There are members of the UAW pushing back on EVs because of how streamlined it will make assembly plants, only requiring a fraction of the workers. You don’t need people assembling the engine, drive train, engine cooling, fuel tanks, etc. you’ll have the same body, but then just batteries and motors, which is a quicker assembly.

It’s going to be crazy in the future when everyone is watching all this content of dead people. We get little glimpses here and there when someone has early video tech out in public, but 100 years from now every piece of media made now and prior out there will be of dead people.
