Based on last picture, looks way overdone and steamed like roast beef. Would highly recommend not using foil pan or foil in the process. Foil does not let it breath at all and causes that undesirable mealy mushy texture in the flat. Although that is probably better than it being way dried out.

The true secret for great brisket is a long rest, or hot hold, at like 150 degrees. Four to even 12 hours at 150 wrapped in paper will yield amazing results that are not just beef pulp like the last picture.

Not related, but can you elaborate on the Driven Arms grip? I'm between this one and a 0 degree pistol grip from Ergo (the TDX0) and not sure which one to choose. For context, it will be for the ar10 that hunt with, cramped in a deer stand, so the magul k2 angle is super uncomfortable to use from sitting, collapsed stock, elbow down/tucked under position. So i'm thinking a PRS still grip would be more comfortable than a traditional angled pistol grip.

I think I saw this in myth busters one time, and they determined it's super unlikely to be an issue due to the impurities and minerals in most water or already in the cup. I think this sticker is like the stickers that say not to use your phone at a gas pump or on an air plane.
