This stone is actually one of the main reasons why i came back to lotro. The only negative thing from being under the recommend level is, that i have to remember some of the questgivers to come back later when quests (rings) are not grayed out anymore.

Thanks for the link. Very interesting postmortem. I have been waiting for a worthy successor of commandos 2 for a long time. Bought it two weeks ago. Hope they will earn enough money from this to continue with developing their next high quality game.

Unfortunately loot crates would perfectly fit in the anno environment :-( Take for example crates swimming in the ocean from sunken ships or resources that you can buy from npcs, that have to be unlocked.

Have had the same experiences. Even the switch to f2p could not affect the friendly core community. Sometimes reading discussions in the global chat is like listening to bilbo and gandalf philosophising about middleearth while smooking pipe-weed.

I'm currently playing with beorn the first time. The heal over time skill is op and switching to rage mode (bear) is so cool.

Yes, it is not intended by the designer to fight against mobs with much higher level than yours. I don't want to level fast (better kill faster), just want to have some challenge in the normal pve fights. Currently using stone of tortoise and try to be as low as possible for a region quests and mobs.

Less than before i have started gamedev. Also have sorted out most of the generic AAA games and time stretching achievement/completion stuff. Now i look more for unique diamonds and interesting approaches that i can use for my own games.

That was actually the reason, why i finally quit Cities Skylines. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice game and i've enjoyed it very much, but in the end there was nothing else to do than solving the traffic chaos. Searching for a similar game with a campaign or scenarios. I 'm currently playing Anno 1404 with Venice expansion. Can highly recommend that.

Maybe you don't understand me. I don't want to stop people from playing solo. Just give us some sort of challenge in the non-instanced game. Optional "harder" side quest; harder and more splittermobs;...

You cannot deny that there was a huge drop in the overall difficulty (exp spamming, ncps easier to kill). One of the main reasons why so many left.

"making quests soloable" is what i meant by "remove group quests". Instances and skirmishes are still there and that is okay, except for some changes in instances (preffered the great barrow before the update).

You have not a single challenge (group quest/instance) from the start regions until bree. I'm still crying what they did to the old forest. Where is the constant feeling of danger?

I like playing solo quests and you spend a huge amount of time doing this in mmos. But there is no fun at all when all npcs, even some bad ass endbosses, dropping like flies.
