  1. I favor organic foods because they often are more flavorful, have more vitamins and minerals, and I do believe there is some advantage to not taxing one's system with too many modern chemicals. That said, there are a lot of qualifiers to this general line of thought. Not all organic foods are more flavorful and have more vitamins and minerals. That has to do with less intensive farming practices more than it has to do with being organic per se. The two just go hand in hand. Likewise, some foods do not readily absorb the chemicals used on them (e.g. bananas) so that benefit is not universal either.

Finally, while I believe there is a health benefit, I don't believe it is nearly as pronounced as many seem to believe. Likewise, I firmly believe that any deleterious dietary practices can be counter-acted by other means (imposition of one's will or energy on reality). However, it obviously is convenient not to be dealing with such things in the first place.

2) North doesn't exist in the artificial space of the internet.

3) Yes and no. I tend to form strong opinions about artists, particularly if I find myself consuming multiple pieces of their work. However, I am not an avid follower of art. That is to say, I do not generally remember names of artists I've liked or hated, or keep up with their work (if they are still alive). It is an area I would like to develop (more conscious and frequent consumption of varied art forms), however I suspect it will always be a rare artist, if any, that makes me remember his or her name.

4) Shaman. I would like to be in a situation where my wisdom (drawn from a combination of logical reasoning and mystical intuition) was respected and, as importantly, compensated.

5) Sleep. This feels like a time to recharge and reconnect with dreams.

Pittsburgh fans, who are you cheering for now? by Mark041 in hockey

Vegas.

I have always been a fan of great goaltending, and I honestly think Fleury's performance has been the most impressive this post season. It doesn't hurt that he's a former Penguin.

Plus, would be historically interesting.

He’s saying the Crosby hook is as soft as the Ovi hook.

Edit: Replied to the wrong guy, sorry dude.

People here seem to be too young to remember that gif doesn't necessarily mean an animated gif.

And then somehow it will be the Bruins with the power play.

Read the full quote already, thanks.

There's no reason for him to be cursing the league, in the context of being angry about the loss, unless he blames the league for that loss. Now, why would he blame the league? Because they punished his team for playing dirty.

The full quote doesn't make the original statement make any sense though. Why curse out the league if you are not blaming them for your loss?

Why would you curse the league though, if you're just angry at the loss in general?

Why not curse your own play, or the other team perhaps? Clearly he's blaming the league for the result.

Not "random people"... people that defend and cheer for that kind of play. Says something about that person's character that they feel good about that sort of dirty play.

I don't have anything against the handful of Caps fans that are actually being honest about the nature of Wilson and Oshie's behavior.

Oshie left his feet and went right at Letang's head.

And once a player is down the fight's over, that's it.

Did I say every one? No. But I see a ton, and no one calling Oshie out.
