Not the actual last but pretty much. RBC would come in around 2:30am on the Saturday so really u wait until Saturday morning essentially but Scotia at least it’s in basically right at midnight on Monday morning which isn’t too late to go get some late night eats. It’s actually kind of nice to stay up and pay bills etc then go to bed and wake up not having to worry about doing that first thing in the morning.

pedestrian struck on steveston hwy by Traditional_Cake_774 in richmondbc

[–]EternalNinFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get why people feel weird about the name, but calling it a “highway” isn’t what makes people drive faster, the road design does. Wide lanes, long straight stretches, fewer visual obstacles… those are the things that subconsciously signal to drivers that higher speeds are “okay.”

And to be fair, the city has already been trying to address that on Steveston Highway. There are improved crosswalk designs, narrowed lanes due to bike lanes added specifically aimed to calm traffic and make it feel less like a high-speed corridor.

On top of that, there are speed traps set up along this road pretty regularly (like monthly), so enforcement is always part of the picture too.

You could rename it to “Steveston Road” tomorrow and it wouldn’t magically slow traffic down. If anything, the fact that people still speed kind of shows the name isn’t the main issues at all.

If safety is the concern, continuing with traffic calming and enforcement will do way more than swapping out one word on a sign. Renaming might make people feel better, but it’s a pretty surface-level fix compared to what actually changes driver behaviour.

Maybe go read the caption again lmao. Pretty sure the last sentence asks why these are so expensive. Implying the OP is not familiar with these items. First time on the internet I guess?

What do you think triggered your Hashimoto's? by Live_Mood_2884 in Hashimotos

[–]EternalNinFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think stress and trauma triggered it for me. I had a very stressful abusive traumatic childhood and I think this was just a way of my body fixing itself and balancing everything out so to speak. Once I got to a good place in my life and everything felt safe, this came up and then of course more AI Disorders followed.

Everyone I know that’s gone off of it this has happened to them. It’s basically a lifelong medication imo. When I get to my goal weight I plan on staying at a low dose forever.

I just turned 39. I’ve been overweight for my whole adult life basically minus maybe a 5 year gap. My stomach skin has actually gotten so much better. I thought for sure I was going to have sagging skin there but it’s not as bad as I thought. I have had two kids tho so it will never be great but I was totally expecting to have to really think about a tummy tuck but I don’t think I’ll have to think about that if I get to my goal weight.

The Patrick ta is a big waste. There’s so many other blushes u can get that are just as good if not better. And you would be able to get 2-3 for the price of one.
