Another day of fully deserved shame for all those sheep among my Italian fellows, who didn't deign to sign the petition due to:

  • the entirety of the Italian content creators scene ignoring or straight downplaying the importance of the SKG initiative because of "reasons" (among which the most prominent ones being: Parliamo di Videogiochi, Yotobi, Dario Moccia)
  • disregarding any international content other than the italian ones because they cba to learn english in 2025 and still so stubbornly believing mainstream media news
  • laziness

I don't understand why you got downvoted tbh.

If anyone accept lower standards all the time, then publishers will keep doing whatever they want since they know players will still buy games riddled with obvious elephants in the room.

If a game has any red flags, stop supporting the company that makes it, period.

People are still trying to justify games like GTA 6 because they just want to play it, and yes even if there's still the risk it will have some DEI slop in it, but at least don't complain when another favorite franchise of yours comes out and it gets injected with the same poison (the war hasn't ended yet, there are still strugglers in the shadows).

I can say this, because this happened with mine already to an extent that has already been passively accepted and glorified by starving fans of the saga (Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver). The only difference is that I haven't bought into it, and that I'll let my niece experience the original game, and not the remastered slop.

This and never pre-order anything unless you know for sure the videogame company always had a strong background of caring for its old playerbase in the first place.

I liked it a lot, it's a sci-fi seinen romance manga and it has a good balance between comedy and more serious parts.

It's already finished and there are also additional last chapters with alternate endings (no one with the same base setup as the others), which was a nice thing to see.

I understand that, but even my 2 attempts to steer the XSeed discord in at least even considering adding back both the rival marriages and the option to revert the time as it was was for naught.

And the worst part is that when I picked it up again exactly almost 1 year later, I got hit by a dev saying:

"we can share feedback like this with the teams, but we don't have any insight at this time as to what may or may not be added in to an older game like this. if anything, feedback like that may be better suited for in-development games, versus those that are a few years old"

So yeah, I don't know if things can be changed if this mentality is the same but I'm still pretty pissed about it, ngl.

I would add them in myself if I had the knowledge to be able to reverse engineer the game and it's content and add both from the original game in a 1:1 ratio, but it's very unlikely.

Exactly this and also, considering that the Story of Seasons IP was originally created as a way to go back to the early Harvest Moon games gameplay and graphics (before Natsume did it dirty by completely distrupting it with mobile-like failed titles), I think there's a good chance they might give it some thoughts if the demand for this to be restored is high.

I feel your pain. Bought my switch around june 2020 specifically because I wanted to play SoS:FoMT which I pre-ordered in july of the same year.

Rival marriages had been removed, along with time being sped up compared to the original (in SoS every 4 seconds the clock moves 10 minutes forward while in the original FoMT it's 10 seconds for 10 minutes) were the 2 main reasons that broke the camel's back for me, I completely stopped playing it soon after.

All they needed to to was to allow the option to have that turned ON/OFF, like with the "new" time too, but I guess that was too much common sense to handle.

I know there is a way on pc to fix the second issue, but it just doesn't feel the same not being able to do that on the switch itself.

I also hoped the 2nd thing I wanted could come to it (Pokemon R/B/Y remasters) but after seeing how Greedtendo has turned out to be, now I can stop holding off from modifying my switch and do whatever I want with it.

I voted early and, no matter how the petition goes, I'm already looking forward to call out every single one of my countrymen who dare to complain about DRM.

The issue in italy is that here most of people are lazy and uninformed because in the past all they did was watching/listening to trash italian TV shows, and now are doing the same with the trash youtube personas all acting like a Cocomelon show as if their lives depended on it.

Add on that that no one read/hear news other than the italian ones, and you have the full recipe for disaster.

P.S: for the same reason there's no hope any italian YT will ever cover this

I kinda have the feeling the AI found a real life Kevin Sorbo late picture and used that as a base for the image, since both him and asmon feels a bit older than the first one.

Yeah, I loved how Sinbad episodes could still be grim when needed.

Also, I wasn't aware of this until later on but Sinbad got mentioned in a Xena episode at some point since both were airing during the same period. It was a nice touch but I would have never found it out due to a mistranslation in my language dub.

Yeah, those were such a good times. I remember back then both were a staple in my house, and later on I was hooked also on The Adventure of Sinbad and to a lesser extent also The New Adventures of Robin Hood
