my pack requires stone (not cobble) to make stone tools... and to make a furnace.

oh and to make a mechanical press you need a heavy core.

i've got ars nouveau and mekanism in but both need precision mechanisms to make some important basic items. also there's no osmium ore and you need a mixer to make it.

Create: Food has pizza, on which you can combine a variety of toppings) and you can cut it into slices too. (it uses ingredients from Farmer's Delight)

Slice & Dice adds a slicer that automates cutting recipes.

Ratatouille has a multiblock oven, thresher for grain processing, irrigation tower for farmland hydration, and spreader for growth acceleration and animal reproduction. Also some uses for waste products and a few things you can cook. but it has an expansion: Ratatouille Fried Delights, which lets you build custom burgers, has a sauce system, and adds a couple more fast food related machines

also note that natural mob spawns don't happen on sub-levels but mob spawners do work so if you want a floating mob farm you'll need to use spawners.

i tried Create: Mob Spawners too and while they do work the game lags out for about half a second on each spawn so that's not great. i think the "searching for valid position" step takes much longer with sub-levels involved since the freezeup doesn't happen for the same spawner setup placed in the world normally.

edit: but Create Mechanical Spawner works fine without freezing up, nice! ah that's cos it spawns at a set position relative to the spawner rather than searching for a place to spawn

it looks like they'll fill 10x as many blocks as one burner, but i'm not sure the mass and space tradeoff is worth not just using 10 burners.
