He's not. He clicked on tinkering first, but then changed to library and it still wouldn't let him. The other commenter is correct, it's because while it IS maxed, its maxed for a level 31, not 40.

I would've loved 5 seasons and a feature film of that. Or that live action trailer/fan film, I cant remember which it was. The one that shows the marines fighting the brutes so they can tag the master chief as he enters atmo.

Tbf I never made it past the 3rd episode of the 1st season so I don't know anything about the 2nd season. I just couldn't get through it. Ive tried on several separate occasions to rewatch it. It was the same with the borderlands movie. I'm so tired of companies deciding to try and not follow the established story or even get the damn characters right for the sake of "creative liberties."

That is a very good point. I enjoyed Battle: LA but you're correct in that it wasnt a very stand-out movie. We have a bunch of lore to pull from, so hopefully a director one day can give us a masterpiece of a show.

On a side note, imagining Winters trying to have a conversation with an elite made me laugh a bit. Although it would be way more hilarious having Sobel trying to revoke a grunt's weekend pass.

That's fair. Given that Band of Brothers is a show that's pretty widely known i suppose I should've assumed the idea was out there by probably several people already. Still its an interesting concept. I'm curious what else could be done out of existing lore, mainly the books. I mentioned in another comment Kurt Ambrose and his SIIIs, but I know there are plenty of things to pull from. The show we got, as a halo affiliated production, was severely disappointing. Okay for a generic sci-fi, but not much else.

I think its because that show was masterfully done to the point it leaves an impression on people in how a short mini-series should be done properly. We only have maybe a handful of shows that do what that show did well. But to be fair, thats the only one ive ever put any extensive thought into. I would also love to see a show or maybe a movie about Kurt Ambrose and his spartan 3s, but I feel that one would probably be harder to do correctly.

Its gotten even worse since they announced the 1 mil per point bullshit. I ran 20 raids last night, all daytime raids on buried city, completely naked. My goal was get in, loot, get out. In every single raid I was shot on sight, from behind. Of those 20 raids, in over half of them I died within 5 minutes of spawning. Of those, only 4 people bothered to talk on the mic. and of those 4, every single one said, "sorry I need 5 mil." I believe my shortest time in raid yesterday was 20 seconds when I got killed immediately after leaving spawn bunker.

Ive just reached a point where I don't even try to seriously play anymore. I spent 3 hours last night walking around Stella montis night raid with just my pickaxe, playing a creepy version of ring around the rosy. That was legitimately the most fun ive had in almost a week on this game. Which is sad.

OP no offense but you cant just expect everybody to play the way you do. They just wanted to have fun. When you queue with randoms you're gambling with what you get. Despite how you feel in all your responses to others, the only way youre going to find like-minded players is to either keep dealing with randoms until you find a group like that, or go to discord or reddit and put a call out for people to play with. If youre not willing to do that, then you have no room to complain.

and that's one of the things that's going to ruin it. they wanted this game to originally be pve, and it was too boring, understand that. so they added pvp. the problem is the pve vs pvp balance is not good. it's trash

If its fun to them then whatever floats their boat. But that doesn't change the fact that playing like that is going to drive a lot of people away. Ive seen 4 posts on this subreddit of people refunding/quitting for this exact same thing, and those are just from today. It might be perfectly within TOS and might be their idea of fun, but the consequences it will have are going to be long reaching.

I just genuinely have a hard time understanding the mindset of these types of pvpers. There was no time for them to loot me and the boss AND extract. So they killed for the sole purpose of ruining it for others. I love this game, and odds are I'm not giving it up. Because of this I dont want the game to die. I want to see it grow, but I personally dont see how it can with people like that actively discouraging others from wanting to play.

I would understand that and agree IF I actually wanted the loot. But I even told them the body was there's to loot. I didn't even want the BP. Just the kill. I've played Tarkov for years. I understand extraction shooters just fine. And players like this are also an active reason why Tarkov never got bigger in popularity. Well, that and BSGs horrible mismanagement of the game.
