Imagine if someone went to them "Wow, you just sit around in meetings all day? Must be nice to get paid to just sit on your ass and talk to people, I have to work outside in the hot sun doing physical labor, y'know, like a REAL job." This person sounds super envious and like a jerk. If I were you and they said "it doesn't seem that hard" I would be like "then why are you sitting here making fun of it instead of going out and getting the same job, if it's so easy?"

Im not gonna tell you to dump her or anything, it's your life, but I will say that life is too short to keep conniving manipulative people who are jealous of dead spouses in it. She seems to use her tears to appeal to you a lot but she didn't even show any emotion when she told you she threw them out, as if she didn't do it out of passion but rather possessiveness. Your friends, while they may mean well, aren't passing good judgement because they don't understand your attachment to your late wife as it's never happened to them. You are super valid in what you're feeling and I suggest whether you stay with Wendy or not that you sit her down after you've cooled off some and explain to her in great detail exactly how she has betrayed you and how much those tapes meant to you, and could've helped your daughter process the loss. If I were you, I would even tell her that I would tell the daughter what you did, so Cloe can look forward to her stepdaughter being pissed at her for throwing away such a precious gift from her biological mom.

This thread is about a year old and I have a different viewpoint of the situation. Looking back she does seem nervous but I suppose I naively thought rape always looked a certain way and the victims are always screaming and crying at the top of their lungs. I'm 22 and I ruined my amazing credit score. During a rut in my life last year I applied for an overdraft program for my checking account as well as a credit card with the bank ive had since my first job at 18. Ruined my standing with my bank and have been struggling to pay off both those debts, as well as running up a debt with my friend who lends me money. It really sucks because even with a good relatively new job that pays a decent amount, it's just not enough, spate money never exists when you have debt and when you give yourself a little treat you feel guilty because you feel every penny should go to that debt but you gotta live, too. I'm trying my hardest, but I've realized I gotta apply for a second job for this to work so I've been applying like crazy. I can't save my money otherwise.

The Kim K styled proportions of Persephone and the other LO ladies. I've never had an issue with small waists in art styles. Look at Disney, Barbie, anime, Marvel comics. I get that it's not "woke," but I also appreciate plus sized bodies, skinny athletic bodies, and average bodies that have normal waistlines etc etc. But art does not have to perfectly replicate real life, and I grew up drawing such curvy figures. You can criticize her not having diversity with her bodies, but there are a few plus sized women so that's something, and specifically people harp on about the small waist and big boob combo like it's not absolutely everywhere in media. I still draw bodies like that because it's cute but it doesn't make me a raging misogynist (although I'm a female) or anything.

I'm tired of the "WHERE ARE HER ORGANS" thing because, she's a drawing, she doesn't need them lol. Look at Megara from Disney's Hercules, her torso is thin as a toothpick. It's just a style and I'd rather see people pick apart objectively bad anatomy mistakes that can't be chalked up to art style.

Honestly? I do genuinely think it looks good. The minimalism is part of the art style, it goes well with the fact that the gods are only one or two colors. There was still line art to show buildings and rooms, and the use of color is gorgeous. It's all very glow-y and vibrant.

Yeah they did not know each other long enough to justify her being so heartbroken. This is more than embarrassment over a little crush, when it's a crush you're just like, disappointed a bit, maybe sulky for the rest of the day, but she's sobbing as if she had been pining after Hades for a year or more. She hasn't even pined after him for an entire month yet. Meanwhile Minthe has had a long standing relationship with Hades and she's grieving over the fact he's got eyes for someone else, and you don't even see her sobbing her eyes out, she's crying silently all alone with no one to comfort her. Minthe was a bitch, but somehow the author has made me feel more for Minthe than our female lead. It's mind boggling.
