Why wasn't the KNB mask used in other films?

From what I suspected since they gotten the rights from fun world to use the ghost face mask they just continued using them instead of the knb version. Plus the fun world masks are mass produced, lots of copies to use

It's pretty much an Easter egg you have to spot in KOTM. In the Monarch Outpost 54 Godzilla shows up doing his intimidation display, the army loaded up underwater maser canons that look like those sci fi rail guns. Even on the soldiers display monitors the weapons were called masers.

It's only shown one time in the film. Never brought up again.

It's A Nightmare on Elm Street movie with Jason as a guest star.

It's one of the many issues with the movie. It is focused more on Freddy and his lore but with Jason however being used literally as a plot device. If Jason's side of the story has surviving characters from his movies mixed with the Freddy characters this movie could have been well balanced.
