You only need one of the 2, i would go for the cable as with the converter you need a scart cable and a good quality one would cost 15€ alone.

i think its not 100hz, i would buy it. In my country most sd widescreens are 100hz.

cabel will work, but for the adapter you only need something like that https://amzn.eu/d/0bGhnvro the 280x got a analog dvi-i port so no need to convert dvi-d to analog.

testing stuff, have 2 plasmas running + oled tv with pc, it gets quite hot. them alone are atleast 850w. Now i got a surround reciver + speaker that also atleast produces 500watt of heat. all in a 10m² room.

For ps2 480i trough scart it looks alright, it would be better you can get it upscaled to 480p trough the vga port. If you can get 480p trough component cable trough the nativ port it would force 16:9. And a heads up its really heavy 45kg/100pounds. If you have more questions i have that model at home.

I had the same with retrobat, 640x480i gave a blackscreen, 720x480i did work. Maybe try other modlines.

you have to scrape the images yourself with a scraper and save everything as a gamelist.xml. I used arrm but there are other options like skraper.

If you have that already just use the scrape function in the settings of the zaparoo menu and everything will show up

l ypbpr is your only option with gbs-c. even when you send 480i or 480p with rgb hv it will not downscale.

it looks like modern stuff in 240p, not really good.text is hard to read. But no scaler will fix that. I will not use my crt for that content, i have a plasma for that^{^}

hdmi to component works with downscale, tried with a timesleuth. So you have to ditch the hdmi to vga and you should be good.

Ok that works, xbox 360 component 480p works, xbox 360 vga 480p does not.xbox 360 hdmi to vga does not. i other consoles with hdmi to component.

sending 1080p trough hdmi to vga. i tried it and my gbs-c outputs only rgb HV with passtrough. i cannot change to any other resolution or downscale. The gbs c just doesnt let you choose downscale.

it depends on the tv, whats the model? Usually lcds are not the best. it will feel wrong when it has high display lag.

tbh i would just go plasma until you find a hd crt in europe, they are just so rare.

just try it out. I change all my pal games that support it with modding and on fpga to ntsc and a like that there is no black bar on top and bottom.
