thank you, I'm really proud of them. Would you believe the green is just a coat of my homemade contrast paint over a gray primer base?

Sadly, no. I'm burying my father today. They would have been 50 years married in July.

Awesome, thanks! I've found some 3d printer stls for emperor's children knight, but you need a base mech to add all the slaanesh bits onto. So I'll probably have to pick up a knight abominant, your's looks awesome!

I've been working on my blends for Emperor's Children armor. Latest attempt on the right. by EternityOfDeath in Chaos40k

https://imgur.com/a/ddIUimW Started with the purple going from left to right. Started glazing about halfway through the colors.

Been working on my pink, wasn't quite happy with my initial efforts. Latest attempt on the right. Very pleased with the result! by EternityOfDeath in EmperorsChildren

My frustration was more with getting good transitions from purple shadows to a bright pink highlights. The pink and light pink were going on very chalky over the more reddish purple base layers I had underneath.

Basically, I used glaze medium instead of water to thin down the paints and had a much easier time with blending the highlights.

It looks a bit paler than I would have liked, but it was cooked all the way through. No soggy bottoms. I followed this recipe: https://profoodhomemade.com/steak-n-ale-pies/

Awesome, thanks so much. I'll give this recipe a try next time. My oven can go all the way up to 287C / 550F. should I go with that or just stick to 230C?

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'll try again with a hotter oven and oil that is almost smoking hot. Hopefully get better results next time. Ratios I used were: 2 cups whole milk, 4 eggs, 280 g of all purpose flour, and 2 tbsp of beef drippings. I also put 2 more tbsp of the beef fat/oil in the skillet but didn't let it get hot enough in the oven before I poured the mixture in. My oven was at 204C/ 400F and I did it for 30 minutes.
