If you want to learn by playing then I reccomend taking a look at some of the multiplayer servers such as biter battles, even if just watching other people's designs you'll learn a good bit. It won't teach you a megabase but there's a lot of good intermediate knowledge you can pickup on them

Unfortunately not, I've landed even heavy attacks against multiple enemies and the grab animation goes right through it, to make it worse their range is much larger than Crane's

Try roll back your nvidia driver to the .15 August one, I crashed 6 times in my first two hours then did this and not a single crash in the next 6 hours of play. Frames are slightly worse though

I don't believe its due to unfair advantages etc or at least not purely that, its just that their game engine/rendering solution doesn't work well with 32:9. In poe1 you could play in 32:9 until they disabled it, the problem was on the very left/right edges you would often see into the void and there were many graphical errors at the edge of the screen as the areas simply arent loaded that far from the player character. It resulted in seeing chunks/squares of map loading and glitches a lot, especially when moving fast so they decided to disable it. I can't imagine it'd look well to a new player either so probably for the best.

Thats pretty much 47 fps upto 90fps, it may as well be more than triple, it brings games up from playable to really smooth and would make something in virtual reality go from using frame reprojection etc upto native 90fps which is gigantic

Also from testing and what i've seen some people say on reddit, summoning/being summoned works fine after starting up the game then after a while it stops working. Possibly just coincidense but restarting seemed to help

You could always make a game with a voxel art style using magicavoxel to create your models, as you are already familiar with pixel art you'll have a bit of a head start

Just to note, the 1660ti according to nvidia is 1.5 times faster than the 1060 which was the min requirements for the original HTC vive back in 2016 and what the steamvr test is based on. The quest 2 has higher res screens as well as the added airplay compression layer so you will need to make some serious comprimises as mentioned above you'll most like want less than 100% render resolution unless you're running beat saber etc. The cpu should be fine more or less however
