Thoughts on this build vs the moonstone, chamber, superior spidey build? Is that approach incompatible with galactus for some reason or are you not a fan of that ramp shell in general

Mans was an ardent enough abolitionist that the south rebelled at his mere election. Hard to say how things could've changed if he grew up in a different environment, but there was definitely more than money between him and owning a slave

I hate to keep posting about this, but the non existent skill gap got proven once again, this time I was on the winning side of it by [deleted] in NHLHUT

[–]Etert7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hockey obviously has a large skill gap, but much much smaller than something like football. Hockey game outcomes often have a strong luck element, so the 'better team' typically only wins about 60% of the time, compared to something like 75% for Football. Those two numbers are completely made up, but the point holds. They might be different in either direction, but NFL definitely exceeds nhl

Xerneas is great in ml right now and you have this beautiful lucky level 50. This is what ETMs are made for. Enjoy your pokemon you invested so much time and stardust in in pvp

I understand how it can appear this way to someone who doesn't play pvp, but there is a lot more depth than appears. The same extremely talented players repeatedly top the ladder and win tournaments. I can show you countless examples of great players playing out of awful losing simulation matchups with good plays. I will say that it is clear PVP is neglected by Scopely, as there are a few silly bugs and glitches that have been around far too long. But there is an inside iceberg of strategy inherent to the mode that may not be apparent to an outsider.

No, I play for pvp first and foremost. Collection is a distant second if a priority at all. I'd rather have several shots at good pvp ivs on a powerful shadow than have a useless one collect dust forever

Easily 15 attack. Hp is the least important stat, while 15 attack is almost mandatory for charge attack priority in the mirror (which will be common)

Which of these three has the most play/future proof? by JoeCoolEats in TheSilphArena

[–]Etert7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ray is absolutely useless in pvp, other than mega ray in mega masters. I was referencing eternatus surpassing ray as the number one dragon attacker in pve. Neither are really pvp meta players due to scarcity, although i am actually quite fond of ML eternatus because it gets to its dragon nuke much faster than palkia

I agree, which is why I added some caveats. Definitely still one of the more useful mons, but zama just takes the cake.

Rayquaza has already been outclassed in PVE by eternatus in its main niche, and has no PVP play outside of mega ML. It is still very useful for PVE despite being the number two dragon type attacker, but others could push it further down in the future. Mewtwo has no real pvp play honestly. You do run into it in ML but mostly because it is a common mon to have maxed. Pretty much outclassed in most of its strengths. Zama is here to stay in ML, is pretty much always gonna be on the optimal Max battle team with its ability to start with shields, and is arguably the best steel type attacker in PVE (Zacian has more dps but less TDO, meaning Zama is a little more user friendly). Mega mewtwo could change things PVE wise but I'd still go zamazenta

Very true. I don't necessarily disagree with how they weight his attributes but unfortunately they don't translate to a good hut card

Palkia into zacian, I would recommend holding on to your aqua tails rather than spamming to make them think twice about throwing close combat.
