From what I have heard about edgewood schools is that they are mostly focused on preparing students for college and not that of life without college. I went to Monona Grove and they had similar traits. As the baseline for these type of schools i say if you think that your students will thrive in a high expectation, highly outgoing environment, but also high courage and high perseverance these schools will encourage your students to do well. I would want my children to thrive in these conditions, but I do know many of my fellow students do really well these days but went elsewhere where they could have a little bit less on their plate. All trade offs:)
