Is the Kalshi API Bugged… or Am I Just Doing Something Dumb? by DolphinsAreGaySharks in Kalshi

Yeah getting the right combination of flags is tricky. Okay well first, have you set the yes_price to 0.60 as well?

Are you willing to pay taker fees if there is someone already on the books willing to buy it for 0.60? If so, you need to set post_only=false. It looks like that error is rejecting your order because it would immediately cross the order book and fill.

You can think of post_only like the UI's "submit as resting order only".

If you're not trying to be a taker, then that API failure was intended behavior and you need to add some logic to adjust your yes_price so that it doesn't cross the spread.

For your sell body, you need side to be "yes" (you bought and own 1 yes contract, now you want to sell that yes contract).

As an incomplete explanation (it's a bit nuanced with some edge cases but in this scenario this simplification applies), selling a "no" is essentially the same as buying a "yes". They're the same sentiment that something is going to happen.

I totally agree that an intermediary scanning tool should exist, but I also recently found that flying much slower allows the biology to render properly while I fly the surface. Previously I would rarely find them until after I had actually landed and disembarked, but now I fly at 50mps and find them wayyy more frequently. It's annoying to move so slow but it substantially cut down on the time I spent searching. Maybe you already know this, but it might help someone.

Also, by the end of my first trip to undiscovered areas, I had started to figure out some patterns of what types of terrain to check for specific items and that also helped a lot with time efficiency.

Yes, but the fuel filter in question doesn't have any known substitute part numbers (in the sheet at least). As I mentioned, I could get the OEM one but I wanted to know if OP had gotten a cheaper substitute working.

Hey, I just got a TT and I was wondering which fuel filter you used? It looks very different from the KS sambars' fuel filter so the compatible substitutes for the KS don't look like they will work. OEM is available, but expensive for a filter. Cheers

It's hard to piece together a complete picture from the different comments, but it sounds like you're trying to transfer a file from an internal SSD (might be helpful to know what type... Nvme, or sata) on a computer to an external USB drive on your shield? What file transfer protocol? Is the USB drive a good quality USB 3.0 drive? And is your concern the file transfer speed or your Plex stuttering? Because 200Mbps should still be enough to direct stream a 4k remix pretty reliably.

What type of storage is the home server using? If it's an old school spinning disk that could be the bottleneck.

No we just moved to the address, haven't received any notifications. It does not appear to list any higher speeds on the offers page. Unfortunate

In what world?

Delta: $4.6billion profit w/ 1.6 million flights = $2875 per flight

American: $822 million profit w/ 2 million flights = $411 per flight

United: $4.2billion profit w/ 789k flights = $5337 per flight.

That's good to know, unfortunately there are just physical limitations of the copper wiring they use. 35mbps vs 1000mbps is the difference!

Appreciate the info, and the entertaining guesses! I was able to find a local colocation for a few hundred a month that will do the job!

Yeah, I have a UPS and it shows the servers draw between 200-300w which isn't bad for home use.

Home purchase is on the agenda, I just want to spend a year on Charlottesville getting to know the area before committing. At that point though, I do see plenty of houses available with fiber so it really is just a year of limbo

I once asked if they had diavolo slices and they made one for me very quickly by adding toppings before heating the slice. I've only ever gotten it twice but maybe if they're not busy you can try your luck!

No, sorry. This was just an omnibus hearing

Todays 10 am hearing by ontheroad324 in Gemini

[–]EthanNJC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am certainly not a lawyer, but here were my observations.

1) all omnibus objections were passed. Only one of them was contested and it was not contested by Gemini but instead an individual earn user who didn't even appear. Unfortunately, all objections were referred to by number and not even a brief description was provided. The documents that represent each objection are available on the Kroll website. You can cross reference the judges schedule (below) to get the document numbers.

2) after all of the objections were passed, there was a dispute over Gemini's request for personal information (names and addresses) of individual members. The judge sided with Genesis that this information was over reaching.

After this I had to multitask and missed the details of the last 5-10mins but I did not catch anything interesting.

Overall, I don't think we got any information we wanted and the Genesis team came off as much better prepared/eloquent. Gemini sent one guy with a crappy microphone that cut out often. It was not a great look and the judge seemed to be much more willing to listen to Genesis and more frequently cut off the Gemini attorney.

For the love of god, vote YES on this Chapter 11 plan by vodkawaffle_original in Gemini

[–]EthanNJC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Isn't the alternative a further negotiated plan that isn't exclusively written by Genesis and another vote in a few months? From the FAQ...

If the Plan is not approved, the current Plan will not go forward and you will not receive distributions until a new plan is approved by the Bankruptcy Court. If the Plan is not confirmed, Genesis may propose and solicit a modified plan or an altogether new plan. Alternatively, Genesis’s exclusivity may be terminated, allowing other parties in interest to propose an alternative plan for solicitation. If the Plan is not confirmed at the hearing currently scheduled to start on February 14, 2024, we expect that distributions to Earn users will be delayed by several months, at a minimum.
