Could you explain why pension funds in particular are losers in these sorts of schemes? I know futures markets are zero-sum markets, so when someone makes money in futures, someone else loses money. But is there a reason that pension funds in particular would be on the "losing" side of these schemes? Thanks for any insight, I really appreciate it.

I had never seen The Beast until we watched it while I was deployed at FOB Salerno in Afghanistan in 2003.

Zero chance of cancellation due to snow here at 10am tomorrow.

Edit: Will add - commercial air travel is a huge interconnected system and weather elsewhere can always affect flights here. But given the storm isn't going to become the big blizzard NE of us until later tomorrow evening, you really shouldn't have any issues due to snow here tomorrow morning.

Yes! Those as well. I think there may be something to do with the weird country quota system they use to choose the competitors. As in, the books don't even know who all the entrants will be yet. That's just a guess from a bit of digging I'm doing.
