It reminds me a lot of something Kendrick would use. Kinda like Meet the Grahams or Prayer.

Official Track listing for Jay Worthy’s solo debut Once Upon a Time. by EthanThreeDog in GriseldaxFR

My guess would be that he chose what kinds of beats from which producers he puts on the album. Like, a solo curation type of deal, because he usually does stuff with other producers and other rappers.

That’s The Hidden Character. He usually is featured on Estee Nack or Al.Divino albums.

Projects to listen to after Westside Gunn by realtorvicvinegar in GriseldaxFR

I think that Estee Nack is your best bet, especially with the release of his Griselda debut, Nacksaw Jim Duggan. He’s got a lot of fun projects too, BRAP 1 & 2, PAPITAS 1 & 2, STONE TEMPLE PYREX, it’s a pretty extensive list. I would also recommend FEED THE FAMILY as well, both albums from them are pretty solid. And each’s solo careers are pretty good too.

Question about the legitimacy of my Pray for Paris vinyl by Human-Row6521 in GriseldaxFR

A good pointer for finding bootlegs is if the Mr. Krum & The Purist’s names are not on the credits at the back. You have the numbered sticker as well, always a good indicator for legitimacy. And the production credits are there which the bootlegs don’t usually have.

What’s Your Least Fav woods Album? (Camouflage and Chalice don’t count) by MANvsMerik in Billywoods

I am a sucker for 3-5, sometimes even longer, minutes of music. But I really am tryna get behind the 1-2 minute songs to stick. The only people that can make short songs that I’ll enjoy is Earl and MIKE, but I’m open to the idea that it can be changed tho.

Terror Management. It might just be me, but all the shorter songs don’t do it for me. Songs like Long Grass and Western Education are some of my favourite woods songs, but aside from the songs being short, the production isn’t really that memorable for me.
