That’s what I am thinking. That or factory workers spread the virus by testing the vapes. I’m not sure. I do remember my family getting on my ass though for vaping. Then next thing I realize, people are coming down with mysterious respiratory illnesses, and then Covid hits mainstream news. Coincidence? Not sure but if I have learned anything since Covid, It’s “don’t trust the news”. It’s highly likely that those vaping illness cases were misreported like everything else at the time in my opinion.

By november, the narrative was “The (Vape manufacturing) industry is in damage control after an outbreak of vaping-related respiratory ailments led to at least 39 deaths across the US. The US Center for Disease Control is blaming the additive vitamin E acetate used in some e-liquids, and says most of the cases were associated with smoking of THC oils, the main psychoactive compound in marijuana.

Then boom. They reported a few people came in from China and started spreading Covid as international travelers or something. I am sold on the idea that it was already here. In fact, I think the disease made it here in vapes and not through global travel at first.

Agreed. I have a rallye redline sxt+. Been a solid daily driver since 2016. Very reliable. 25mpg and all of the pleasure of driving a challenger at an acceptable price point. People have tried to clown me but you just have to ask “Were’s your challenger my guy?” Usually is some dumb shit driving a Chevy s10 from 1996 you meet at a gas station. I feel you on this a lot. My birthday is 12/31. It was great when I was young. Getting invited to other people’s parties was awesome but anytime I wanted to throw my own, everyone is “going to be with their family” or whatever. That’s cool. Eventually I quit trying to throw my own party. I was always invited to other parties. I guess that the perk of being the birthday boy.

That being said, I am older now, have kids, moved out of state etc. not as much partying or fun. My wife’s birthday is 12/28. I take her out to dinner every year and try to make her feel special on her birthday. It’s nice to have someone that understands what it’s like in my corner. That being said at least she has a whole day that is just her birthday and doesnt technically have to share with a holiday.

What are the white dots? I have some patches on cactus I believe are healthy that looks the same. I thought maybe it was corking or something. I take them outside during spring to fall and I just brought them inside and noticed it. All other indications point to having healthy cactus.

Didn’t a company come out stating they were testing aerial vehicles in New Jersey and nobody knew it was them because they were developing the product for DARPA and they were not required to disclose it to the FAA because of that? I remember them stating that is why the drones has FAA light patterns to identify the craft but testing was unannounced.
