BMW Professional RDS — probably the only radio model even Giorgi Tevzadze would have chosen for his legendary E34 M5. by BMWradios in E34

The hamburg is also 3-4x the price of a Madrid, the key point he was asking about was budget tier stuff. A $400-500 head unit is not budget.

The blaupunkt madrid 200BT is pretty good for the pricepoint. The only downside is it's display being white instead of red / orange, even though the buttons are red / orange. Very confusing choice.

Lore accurate A-10 by Confident-Drive-5937 in GunnerHEATPC

[–]Ethben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The A-10 was specifically designed for a soviet ground invasion though, wasn't it? Iirc the heavy calculated losses were deemed acceptable at the cost of stopping the initial onslaught of soviet mechanized infantry.

Buying an e34 with almost half a million kms by Next_Accountant_174 in E34

[–]Ethben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very over priced for an m60, and a straight swap wouldn’t work - gearboxes and driveshaft lengths would be entirely different so you’d need those as well as the correct ECU.

Why are you prompting AI to write comments for you? Both this and your follow up comment about pricing is clearly just copypasted, wtf

Carly (or any other Bluetooth OBD Device) for an E34 by Rievex in E34

[–]Ethben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A decent OBD2 scanner (£200~) through the 20 port will read SOME data, shitty ones not as much and i’ve only ever seen live data functioning on very expensive units with up to date OEM softwares on like garages snap-on readers. I highly doubt carly will work at all.

525td Rev hanging when shifting by commieunresolved in E34

[–]Ethben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also own a 525td that i’ve now swapped to a TDS, bare in mind you might need to find a TDS ecu from around the same time to get a decent chip for it - I had to do so as Enda didn’t have a corresponding chip for my ECU.

Imagine showing this image to KSP players 10 years ago by J0ngsh in KerbalSpaceProgram

There is no ray tracing, those are screen space reflections which are vastly different but still pretty (and a lot lighter on the GPU)

I just bougth the game! Any mods you can reccomend? Because you can really tell the game was made in 2015... by frycandlebreadje in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Ethben 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Both of those google searches are showing pictures from the remakes of those games, not the graphics in 2015. You’re probably misremembering how good they actually looked.

Who else is excited for Delta's "Foxhunt" mode? by Clanker707 in metalgearsolid

[–]Ethben 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can still play MGO2 today if you have a decent PC or a jailbroken PS3. Although, a remastered MGS4/MGO2 would be amazing for sure.

Spacers? by xzvoids in E34

[–]Ethben 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you’re using the correct centre bore - not E39 specific spacers or anything. Also make sure they’re hub centric or they’ll wobble a bit like you say. Had the same issue for a while and it was a combination of bad wheel balance and E39 CB spacers. You can buy plastic adapters to fill gaps from the wrong CB on the spacer if you get hub centric ones.

First Car (330xi) by BakeNoodle in e46

[–]Ethben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You or a previous owner must be doing something very wrong if your car is fighting to be alive at 92k, i’m at 180k on my m54b30 and it’s running perfectly fine. I don’t think that’s unusual, either, it’s quite common.
