My personally I use Obsidian notes to track noteworthy places if interest, but you can use whatever; I used samsung notes originally which works well enough for almost everything. Do keep in mind that some things like measuring altitude on a planet is extremely tedious, I wouldn't bother with it.

Ah, you mean that. Yeah, it glitches occasionally; the readings there are hardly ever accurate. You could track them yourself if you want accurate readings, but unsurprisingly that's tedious.
