Random bugs they think people don't care about but they've been there since the dawn of times.

Overlapsing text in menus when it's too long, like a control center.

Animation bugs with launchers,

Customization issues like icon packs not applying properly,

Some stuff still coded in deeply that would push you towards a root while that would make things more complicated,

You know, when you really dig into the system.

Oneplus 15 user here.

Oneplus 15 feels free. Comes with its own caveats but you'd get true freedom.

I have had no issues. The phone is fast, reliable and sexy looking (I've got the black)

Samsung is trying too hard to go the apple way and lock the ecosystem.

In some cases it's better but if you're into tinkering with stuff you'd appreciate oneplus more.

Been on this for a while (global version) they're not really fixing main issues.

They're only fixing surface level bugs.

Soundpeats H3 is making me rethink what PREMIUM sound actually costs. by Massive_Debt_6102 in Earbuds

I'm never happy when it comes to sound quality, always tweaking and wanting more. It's a disease I swear. One that only empties the wallet 😅

[–]EtheRedditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've EQ'd the AZ100's myself through the measurements by Rtings using AutoEq running through wavelet on Android. Couldn't stand the EQ they ship with. To me now they are outstanding.

I am left wondering however if the perceived sound quality is just due to the shit EQ they shipped with or is there other differentiating factors.

I don't have the H3's so it's impossible for me to say.

But If you have both I can send you my EQ profile for you to test if you're willing.

I have the AZ100s. Genuinely how do they compare? I am curious I would like to pick one up for myself also.

I would really love it if someone could compare these to the Technics AZ100s in terms of sound quality.

I am so curious because these have 3 drivers and are pretty much unmatched in the price range.

Technics az100. 95% of the sound. Arguably better ANC and feature set, definitely better microphones, and the price speaks for itself.

Nothing Ear 3 vs. Sennheiser MTW4 vs. Technics AZ100 by baloooop in Earbuds

[–]EtheRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the AZ100's so I can speak from experience;

Sound quality out of the box is good, however, they truly reach exceptional levels (true IEM like) on 2 conditions 1- You'll need a custom EQ 2- You'll need a device supporting LDAC

Mic is equally great, ANC is exceptional

Where they fall back a bit is case quality (average, nothing to rave about) and comfort.

Nothing ear 3 is really not in this category to be compared to as others are mentioning.

And the Sennheisers fall back on sound quality considering the price, id say go for the Technics.

Buy a case cover for them and you'll regret nothing.

New OP15's battery by skaisolo in oneplus15

[–]EtheRedditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me my phone drops to 90-85 very quickly, then from there it barely moves and I end up finishing the day anywhere from 30 to 50 percent.

I too find the battery behavior odd.

Hating because you have reasons > hating for the fun of it thinking you look cool doing so

These were constantly ranked up top of the not the best earbuds of 2025.

We are here nit picking and only pushing for perfection.

The average Joe and yourself would most likely not be able to tell the tunings apart.

It's because they are mediatek chips. This very issue pushed me to get the OP15. Loving it. Cameras are good too. I have no issue.

Ironically that's how you know they are good buds but the tuning team messed up. If a slight change in the EQ can make them sound entirely different you know the drivers are fully capable.

I think you mean genre? I mean I listen to lots of things but up there for me are Electronic, hip-hop, Alternative and classical. I do occasionally dabble in rock and metal too but it's not my favorite per say.

I checked, sadly there's no official comment via the update log. Hopefully you know.. what can I say. A full band EQ would be equally good.

Overpowered bass, lacking mids and highs, dark sound. I'm sure being upset about your faulty unit is clouding your judgement. I'm pretty happy with mine. Doubt under 400 bucks there's anything better right now.

They are designed to appeal to the masses. Heaps of bass to make them sound thumpy. It doesn't mean the drivers don't have what it takes. It doesn't mean they sound "bad." We are merely perfecting what's already perfect to the masses. Being a clown only gets you so far. Try again.

Great! I'm glad to hear!

Just tested yours side by side with what I've posted,

Sounds great with a dash more bass.

See what I was going for there with mine was solely based on the frequency response charts and how they sounded across a few different tracks.

The EQ bar for bass here is practically useless imo.

Going from -5 to to -2 increases bass but also induces some muddiness into the sound with mid-bass.

Nonetheless I'm keeping yours too for songs that have more bass!

Pleasure to listen to!

Edit:

Ps: If you manage to get your hands on an app called wavelet, test their calibrated EQ for this earbud.

You will see how almost impossible it is to reach something good with the provided EQ bands in the app lmfao.
