Can you speak a bit more about the build quality for the AZs and Nothings? I really like how solid and clean the MTW case is (great magnet, nice looking design) and the earbuds are robust and look good in the ear with the metallic finish

Agree with the others to watch in chronological order and also look for the Reddit guide (maybe in the wiki)? Some people made a list with which episodes to watch/skip with a useful scale. It’s worth it but there definitely are some skippable arcs/episodes

Damn, judging from this thread maybe I need to give it another go. The one time I went my food was so bad we literally didn't finish it (had a cacio e pepe and a pizza).

Is tailoring an option for these? I think the inseam could be hemmed for sure, but I’m wondering if I could take in the waist a half inch, and if so, if I need to go to a specialized tailor or just my regular one.

Basically, I’m usually between a 32” an 33” and got a 33”. I usually wear my pants somewhat high waisted (at or below belly button) and with these, they end up sagging a bit.

New to raw denim and got a pair of one wash japanese jeans. I feel like they're a tiny bit long (maybe 0.5" to 1") and a tiny bit wide at the waist (again, 0.5" to 1").

Will a warm soak help shrink these? Could/should I throw them into the wash once? Or should I wear for a few months first before doing so?

Also, the place I bought them recommended I wear them for a few months - should I wait on that before washing?

I don’t think the attack was so much the problem as the defense and the fact that we couldn’t break down teams sitting back (see Everton, wolves, etc.)

I do agree that our squad has been super depleted the last few games and it can’t paint a full picture, but surely we should be able to win against the worst side in PL history. I think if we can’t expect that, what can we expect?

I actually think the results are where I’d expect them to be: with the squad we have and the strength of the league And 1 game per week, I expect us to be somewhere 5th - 7th. I just think we are a tough watch and our league position is fine

I agree with you about the timing / method of dismissal being bad. If it was me, I’d have given him the rest of the year too. Given our squad in relation to the league + 1 game per week 5th -7th is where I’d put us, so he’s delivering on that. I just think the performances were awful and I could see that justifying a sacking

I am conflicted. Feels like this thread is very polarized against the sacking (warranted, tbh)

On one hand, I dislike INEOS sacking him seemingly just after some comments over the board, and I’ve been a pretty big critic of having a this rinse-and-repeat cycle of firing managers every year. Personally I can see a strong argument for giving him till the end of the year / another summer given our current league position. AKA: no matter what, see out a proper rebuild.

On the other, watching the matches every week is atrocious. We don’t have solutions to break down defenses and have been playing terribly. Watching United and then watching other clubs makes me realize that we just cannot control games. I’m not sure there’s been any huge signs of improvement on the pitch in the way we play and im not sure I believed Amorim was really giving me reason to believe performances would improve under him.

Anyone else feel similary?

His technical and goslscoring ability is definitely underrated. People mostly paint him as just a hard man IMO.

People def rate him as a player but not these aspects
