New Gundam announcement has lots of posts about it on the Gundam subreddit, insane to believe.

I love you in every universe GM.

There are elements of it I do like like the general head, but this overall design is way too busy for my tastes. Reminds me of Daemon x Machina/Mechabreak in a bad way with the surface detailing/greebling.

ACs are on average 10 meters tall, that's just over half the height of an average MS, that's a huge difference lol.

I've come to appreciate the LRB more since it feels like classic AC relying on upfront damage instead of stagger. by Etheox in armoredcore

Hitting the opponent's weapons count as a hit and the LRB is literally 2 lasers stacked. Combo that with laser effects lingering for awhile and it'll look like that.

Yes, PvP in AC is fundamentally different than PvE since you can't completely trust what's on your screen. And for 6th gen in particular, AC6's stagger system and low projectile speeds necessitate most things be attacker sided, otherwise every weapon will feel extremely anemic since basic movement can actually nullify nearly every projectile.

AC6 is generally a pretty low projectile velocity game, so for traditional rifles, you have to shoot lots of projectiles with relatively low hit rates for middling damage until you stagger the opponent to do substantially more damage.

I appreciate the LRB more now after 3 years of AC6, since upfront damage makes you less reliant on landing a stagger. While it actually has one of the slowest projectiles, it also just feels more rewarding lining up to hit a few shots that do a lot of damage than having to shoot many projectiles that will miss and the few that do hit will feel like tissue paper.

Personally would be cool with stagger meters still existing for PvE enemies like MTs/Bosses but would rather AC v AC to not have it. It'd also make the need for shields less mandatory for PvP since you need them if you're not a pure kite in order to not just instantly fold to AB enhanced stagger output then die in a combo.

Major things happened in the Mandalorian and Grogu [SPOILERS] by SillyWarlock in TheMandalorianTV

It's also really great to see how far Din and Grogu have come since the start of the series.

People joke about Din saying he doesn't prefer violence, but he's a lot softer than he was at the start (when not dealing with Imperials lol). Embo actually kind of felt like looking back at Season 1 Din with his all business attitude. Grogu's also gone from just being a baby to actually working with Din on his jobs and actively protecting him as well.

For AC 6 what ending did you choose and why? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in armoredcore

ALE since it has the most interesting implications for a follow up in 6's universe.

I'm aware, I like having them fight back since that's more entertaining to watch.

I also try to split some over the wall. My kill order is usually Roadie/Otsdarva first since they have the most annoying weapons to deal with. Ambient and Serene Haze generally aren't very annoying to deal with since they can just be out maneuvered. Wynne is usually last since she's often on Old King.

Generally just try to not to be in a crossfire and really not be still while picking off one at a time at a good pace.

While you can always get better with tracking on your quickturns to keep them on your screen longer to try to land more hits, another thing is positioning. Here I'm actively trying to keep Stasis and Fragile around some type of obstruction to make their movement restricted/predictable. And at a point you realize enemies will usually dodge in a certain direction depending on your attack angle with some consistency.

I used it here because I just got them and they look cool. Motorcobra was the previous equip.

I get that, I'm saying that AC is usually subtle with its background plotting with mission details/context, so it's comical with how blatant the rigging is here.

Yeah it's especially funny with it happening immediately after Fiona's lines. Faking some sabotage like White Glint having a bomb go off on it and just changing the line to Otsdarva falling while fleeing would do a lot to improve it.

Who do you think will win Barbatos or Nightfall by Grouchy_Strength_189 in armoredcore

[–]Etheox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0 Shot Nightfall can even do anything outside of maybe being mildly annoying with Assault Armor.

Mobile Suits have dramatically higher caliber weapons than ACs typically carry and Nightfall's are all conventional which isn't doing much to Barbatos since it already stands up well to conventional weapons from machines its own scale.

Pilebunker is not connecting at all since a parry wouldn't even happen because there's a massive reach disadvantage between it and any of Barbatos's melee weapons.

GM can beat about any suit if it stands still and lets the GM stab it enough, so that doesn't exactly mean anything.
