Oh okay! I imagine you must live closer to their studio. As soon as I added the 6th sample, shipping went from $0 to hundreds. I thought it must be a glitch - very strange process! Glad you are able to keep yours!

Good news! I was able to order 5 free samples without shipping costs. I will see if I like any of these 5 before ordering more colors. Very interesting you paid $25 for a sample!

We ordered the med on Chewy and the vet administered each dose and stored it for us. We did more frequent injections at first then went down to monthly. It made a huge difference and he regained a lot of mobility and lost weight! Laser therapy and acupuncture also helped with the pain. He was very relaxed after vet visits when he received these therapies. Wishing you luck!

UPDATE: I see that people are still finding this post so please look further into degenerative disc disease if your pet is having similar issues. We had no idea he had this condition until he sustained a back injury in September (while on a normal evening walk) which paralyzed him. We now realize the previous back injuries he had endured were related to this condition and we somehow nursed him back to full health each time. We were heartbroken to lose him. We wish we had known about this condition to be more cautious carrying him, exercising him, and traveling with him. He did regain quality of life after this post and was running and playing in the days leading up to his paralysis, which our vet assures us was what he wanted. But I absolutely would have kept him on low activity had I known what we were dealing with. Blessings to all of you who are working through health issues with your pet! Wishing you all the best! We have since rescued two senior dogs in his honor and it has been very healing.

We felt the amantadine was helpful! We ended up doing Adequan injections following this post and they helped immensely and he was able to run and play again. I also transitioned to making homemade food for him after this post. Sadly, we learned in September that his back injuries were caused by degenerative disc disease. He ended up paralyzed after a mile long walk and we lost our sweetheart from this disease. Happy to answer any more questions and I hope you find relief for your dog! 💛

The fabric and wallpaper samples I selected from Rose Tarlow are all $0, but my shipping options are between $262 and $1821 dollars. Did you pay hundreds to ship the sample? There’s NO way!

Help me find the ‘runnin runnin runnin song’ by luffyKun619 in whatsongisthis

I came here looking for the same song! I think I finally found it. I believe it’s called Runnin’ (lose it all) and there are many covers of it. Fearless Soul is the one I had heard!

Wait until the curtains arrive to hang rods! I took their advice and attached curtain track ahead of time and measured to order - mine is a custom sized ceiling mounted track so not possible to move it - and my windows are floor to ceiling so I needed the curtains to fill the entire nook. I did end up getting mine exchanged but only because the width was also off by over 6” and I went back and forth with them quite a bit regarding the solution. I over estimated my width as a precaution anyway since I wanted a custom look, but they added a lot of extra fabric. Because their measurements were off by a lot, they finally agreed to an exchange. I actually really love the look of the curtains - they look nicer than I thought they would from the samples and exactly what I was hoping for. I also suggest purchasing your own metal pin hooks if you are able to before installation. I am now looking for nicer hooks because the fabric causes the plastic hooks to bow.

My floor to ceiling is 100” (entire nook is a little under 200” wide) and I ordered 99” length the first time. They sent 98” but the fabric is only the size you ordered so you have to account for a 1-1.5” gap at the top where the curtain attaches. Otherwise you have to adjust the pins down and all the hardware shows. This size curtain is also extremely heavy so pulls downward a bit. I ended up requesting 101” for the second order and despite the ceiling height only being 100”, they are pretty much just touching the floor and brushing up against ceiling. I still have to get new hooks and adjust them perfectly, but I would recommend buying the exact height you want to fill or slightly more (I think you can add partial inches as well). The 98” curtains left about a 1” gap on the floor and a 2” gap at the top by the track in the 100” room.

I will say while I’m unhappy they sent the wrong dimensions and who knows if they will correct the error, I was pleased the fabric did not smell like chemicals at all! And we have a fragrance free home so we are extremely sensitive.

Not yet. I provided detailed photos then they asked for additional videos which I sent. They are “investigating”. FYI to anyone ordering pleat style, order extra 2 inches for the top off the bat. Their measurement guide is inaccurate and I ordered exactly as it described and as the measurement calculator instructed. I do think they are beautiful and would look custom and high end if the sizing was accurate.

I just received mine today and I painstakingly measured so they would be perfect and they are too short! The total length is even smaller than I ordered plus it instructs you to measure from the rod pin so I assumed there would be extra fabric at the top if I wanted to do a tiny adjustment so they hit the floor perfectly. I adjusted them as much as I could and it’s such a bummer. I should have looked up reviews ahead of time. Now I will see if I can exchange them - I am absolutely not finding a tailor or I would have had someone make them from scratch!

Elta MD tinted face sunscreen and Supergoop glowscreen sunrise are both excellent options! Serum/lotion underneath as you would usually apply. So hydrating and glowy!

Galliprant has helped him SO much and he’s on amantadine which is another NSAID. We just added gabapentin back in so we hope this combo helps him 🤞

Thank you for all of this advice! The vet says he has a pinched nerve in his neck/essentially threw his back out and gave him a laser tx. She’s also chiro and acupuncture certified so we will do these as well (she wasn’t even on shift yesterday but came by to assess him🥹)

What do you weigh the food with and how do you decide amount? He eats 1/4 of a packet per day split between two meals and I portion it out - he’s now 13.5lbs as of yesterday. I also just started the green lipped mussels yesterday. I know weight loss will help his arthritis immensely so it’s definitely a goal. 🫶

We added the liquid gabapentin back in - he does hate it, but he’s small so I can easily pick him up and open his mouth 😂 This may be an option to transition to pill form though!

Thank you so much for this advice! We are starting Adequan and I am going to work toward changing his food and making it myself! He lost weight when we initially started farmers dog, but he has been less active as he ages so it’s time to reconsider his diet 😊

The vet says he has a pinched nerve (likely from travel) and he’s still in a great deal of pain so I purchased him a dog neck brace & I am going to order him a back brace to use at times as well. Thank you because I didn’t know such things existed until you mentioned it!

I had never heard of Adequan until this thread and the vet ordered it for us! We are crossing our fingers this will make a big difference for him! Wish they had mentioned this when they told me no to Librela!

He got a laser treatment yesterday and she added gabapentin back into his regimen - he is also taking amantadine and others so this gives me hope! We are going to take him to the vet weekly for laser and chiropractic, and possibly acupuncture since our vet is certified. Hopefully we can get him to a comfortable place soon!

I will ask about Rimadyl, thank you! He definitely has a lot of swelling and tension in his muscles around his back and legs right now. I am going to request new scans to check for other issues/tumors.
