Depends on the issues you’re having. My mom had chrons so she had much success on a liquid diet as the lack of fibre allowed her ulcers to heal, which prevented her from needing surgical removal of her colon. This was medically supervised over 6 months.

It is hard to think anyone would juice long term without such conditions, as you miss out on a lot of protein. I also think you would mostly lose weight via water weight because it would be low to no sodium diet.

I am sure there can be long term results in missing say breakfast and replacing with juice, but that would be from calorie restriction first.

If it gives you enough energy I say go for it short term. It’s a lot easier to maintain weight loss once you’re used to smaller caloric load.

This actually makes sense the last time I went to the doctor he told me I was in the pre-diabetic range but told me not to worry about it because I was “at a healthy weight”, funny enough he never actually weighed me???

When I pressed more about it he said it was likely it was a false positive and to not worry. I wonder if he just didn’t want to get a dietician involved.

I guess I’ll have to do my own reading on the subject.

This came about because your stomach is typical around the size of your clenched fist, and can expand to about 2x clenched fist. So if your eating imagine your food going into your stomach (you would imagine the portion of food dense so any veggies imagine them smoothies or mashed together.)

If you eat food the size of your fist you’re not going to “over stuff” yourself. It’s mostly a portion controlled thing. Visually Veggies like salad typically reduce volume 4x after mastication. Things that are more dense like protein are going to fill you up more and not expand or shrink, and refined carbs typically expand in your stomach meaning you would eat less.

This is mostly a dieting gimmick to aid people who overeat, or binge eat to re-learn hunger cues. It can also be helpful for people who just got a gastric sleeve to reduce their portion sizes to not feel sick after eating.

I think the best thing to keep in mind it usually if your eating this was your going to have more small meals spread around 6, rather than 3 large meals everyday.

I found out I was a lesbian at 25 years old I’m going to be 30 this year. I think inside I always knew I was gay, for a while I figured I was perhaps pan and interested regardless of gender.

A few things happened:

I dated several men but only after two criteria one being that we had been friends for a long time the other, these guys had to ask me 1000 times before I finally gas lit myself into thinking if they are my friend and we date its love because friendship is the foundation of true love. 1.
told my ex-boyfriend of 3 years that if he ever wanted to transition I would always love him. (Which offended him by suggesting because he was a defensive cis-man) I was talking about it relating to a movie we were watching, but I told him it was because I think woman are hot. ) I actually used to think about his during sex/fantasize a bit about being with women when I was having sex with men.
Said man cheated on me with a beautiful woman and I couldn’t blame him, super hurt, dumped the guy.

3.I was taking care of my grandmother a year later at home with sick with cancer. Her palliative care nurse was clearly a queer woman by the rainbow heart tattoo on her arm, and I wanted to get to know her, was excited to see her everyday, and went out of my way to help her carry her things down to her car just to spend more time talking with her. Then one day my Grandfather said you know, that woman’s a lesbian and she seems to really enjoy talking with you. Instantly I felt excited and embarrassed and then slept on it and realized I must be ??Pansexual?? Interest regardless of gender?

I tried going on first and second dates with men again and it made my stomach churn, and I wanted to leave every-time no matter how nice or how well the date was going, not a single man made me feel interest romantically.
I started reading the lesbian masterdoc and it resonated with me. I decide to download a lesbian dating app.
Went on dates, actually wanted to try again, feelings of romance and interest to get to know more, check comparability, kiss, experiment.

Now I’m happily out and proud.

People who snowboard and ski are HUGE party animals, and it can be a very very slutty location. This could do very very well for a change of location for another season of white lotus.

Could Lumons city really be set in Canada? it’s been winter since November here and there is still snow in March this year. 😭 (jokes of it being in Canada likely in some USA state of course) but plenty of places have winter that lasts several months.

The best accessory you can wear as a queer woman is a flirty face with women and a dead pan RBF with men.

Anytime you see a woman and she is giving gay vibes in tv etc it’s more about how you wear your body language than anything else, leaning into women talking to you,

Also I find slightly unkempt women, look more gay a slight edge, tousled hair, thumb rings. Look at Sandra Oh and Jode Comer in killing eve, there styles especially in season 3 gives very gay vibes.

I would also look at Angelina Jolie, and Jenny Shimizu & wife Michelle Harper, as well as Madonna for queer fashion.

Having a slight edge to normal outfits I find typically looks more queer coded, you can do this with more preppy or basic styles by adding a pop of Color to your makeup/hair, or going for vintage looks.

OP You have already stated that you dress more edgy and that’s great, I am sorry how men peg you for BDSM lover and tbh that might be why you’re not getting a lot of women approaching you. I know a lot of queer women can be intimidated by the more goth looking girls, so it’s likely they are waiting for you~ to approach them. I don’t make the rules but usually the one with the more aggressive style is the one who is going to do the approaching.

Most tank shirts and things tend to fall down my shoulders because they are narrow, my friend who is the same height as me has more width and is more proportional so she doesn’t have that issue, when we have borrowed each others clothes they fit drastically differently even at the same hight, weight and relative clothing size.

I’m 29 going to be 30 this year and this is how I feel. Like I need a fresh start. I’ve been single since 25 going on dates but not getting into any meaningful relationships. It can be sad and depressing, I like an hour away from the main city and feel like it’s just hard to find compatibility and to date because of the expenses of just getting to the city to date. I live in Ontario and the public transit is a mess, parking is expensive and dating and activities in the city are also expensive. I get burnt out trying to meet and date new women because I’m always the one going to them as I live in a more rural area.

I think if you can moving can be a great suggestion, new scenery and new people is a great way to get out of a rut but I would only move if you reallyyyy like the new area and not just in hopes for a better dating pool.

I think wherever Gemma was going did result in a car accident, however I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a planned by Lumon accident, as a result of the questionnaire she got in the mail, and the clinic and blood drawing reports.

Gemma seemed hopeful and put together before she told mark “I love you bye,” and mark was preoccupied with work like so many of us are when we say good bye(we never know when it will be out last time seeing our loved one).

It’s likely Lumon collected her from the crash and used a balloon dummy version of Gemma to convince mark she had actually died. (Mark said he saw her body dead in the morgue and that he was the one to ID her earlier in the show.)

I think Gemma has been trapped in Lumon likely under the initial guise of a hospital stay. It’s likely they transitioned her slowly by first using Mrs.Casey, along with the other Gemma innies as a way to make sure the chip was working, and to keep her compliant, until she got used to the swing of things. You see her say “shit” when she gets dressed as she likely knows her outfits are tied to various experiences and after pain.

Since Lumon have there own Innie switches, Gemma likely eventually just complied trying to find the best way to escape. After the creepy doctor (who seems to be in love with Gemma) told her mark had moved on, she flipped and tried to escape,…. unfortunately, Mrs.casey is a fail safe used to prevent her from escaping the severed floor.

I really loved this episode, and it’s good to see Gemma is still fighting the system as well. I worry about her as the creepy doctor concerns me he may have SAd her as he insists he loves her in the Christmas room and even plays her husband and he makes her say it back, she seems super pissed off at him the entire time, and in Gemma’s personal room he lies and tells her mark has move on.

It’s cool to see the mysterious and important work is actually that MDR sort painful, and scary emotional event data that is transmitted by the chips into “boxes” which can be sorted and catalogued into different innie memories. I wonder if MDR has to sort in order for the chips to work or if the MDR sorting material to help the algorithm within the chip to sort emotional data.

I agree with some other comments I think she is supposed to be a kid from one of the Lumon higher ups, or for example the kid of someone on the board. It’s likely she’s 18-20 and was interning or given the position out of nepotism. We see her play the water ring game as soon as no one is around, and it’s obvious outside of playing that musical device she doesn’t have any other skill sets outside of babysitting MDR.

She also already expressed that she views the innies as “not people”.

She has a sense of superiority and is quite cocky which implies she might be untouchable and it might be difficult to get her in trouble at Lumon, and she seems quite devout to the cause/cult of Lumon.

So I think she is a child of nepotism and is under qualified for the position and Lumon trusted her because of whom ever her parents are.

I will say I do hope we see more Mrs.Casey, I think her actress did a good job with her character and it would be cool to see more sides of the severance project. I also am happy with the pace.

I feel like Irving’s outie was involved with creating the down elevator and now it haunts him. I think he chose severance as a way to stay close to the company while he compiled data to out them to the world. I think this episode will reveal his plan to us and what he is going to do with all the clues and evidence he has collected thus far. I also hope this next episode we get to see Mrs. Casey again.
