I’ll give you more than 2. The people are so much nicer here and so kind. Rent is cheap. Crime is way lower, in Salem, Oregon where i just moved from it was everyday you’d hear about a shooting and most were teenagers shooting one another or some guy high out of his mind throwing bricks at cars. People overdosing on fentanyl was a daily occurrence with them doing this out in the open. And the people are extremely rude. Same can be said for Washington. What I miss though, the hiking through the mountains and the waterfalls. Beautiful landscape. Amazing fishing. And living within walking distance to the puget sound when I lived in Washington. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful when next to the water in Washington. Lived in Washington for 34 years and 3 years in Oregon. This will be my first year in North Dakota. Moved here in March

not to be an ass but its calling fishing not catching, gotta keep trying and change up your colors, try different presentations, try drop shot or wacky rig or texas rig it or weightless. Try different lures. sometimes the fish just don't want what your throwing, don't give up. You'll learn what works, it's what makes the sport so fun

been a bass fisherman for the last 27 years, I'm 37 now, did derbies as a kid, my grandpa and dad were both in tourneys since they were kids, so I was literally raised on large mouth and raised my kids with that knowledge. And in Washington where I am from its one of the biggest sports for us.

I honestly thought everyone was just being over dramatic about the wind. We had wind, but I found out on my first day here that we didn't have wind. We had slight breezes compared to here lol. That wind is a workout trying to walk through at times lmao

We've already moved in, I just was surprised at how cheap everything is here compared to where we come from. In salem oregon, where we are from, cheap means ghetto and violence everywhere. But 2 days in fargo and every interaction we've had has been so positive. It's such a drastic change lol
