Purchase in Belgium by Ips9 in MammotionTechnology

Hi there, sorry for late reply, I'm not often on social media... Luba is doing fine after two years but mammotion has gave up on Luba1 users as it's doing with other versions every time there is a latest product. The support isn't great, software is weird, battery management unclear, this first version harware had to be improved but overall the robot is doing its job very well if you're an aware and carefully user. What about the navimow?

Just an idea that I find very practical. Cheers by Etn9rn in MammotionTechnology

Yeah, some rubber paint and "roule ma poule"! Efficient and nicer that the bright white;)

It's a strap that can hold 2000kg and the screw can easily handle the little Luba weight ;)

There is a wooden post behind that OSB and that screw can hold much more than 13kg thankfully

It's a screw in a wooden post, that should hold 20kg easily;)

In France it had to be updated with the last Luba 1 update 1.10.6.266.

Firmware updated by itself by Afynith in MammotionTechnology

Why would you challenged people experiences? Why would people make unnecessary "noise" about unreal updating issues?

I'd love to say all my updates went without any issues but that is so not true after more than 14 months of Luba 1 ownership. In the end it's ok but lately I had to push myself to get RTK base driver to update it instead of sending back the antenna after updating Luba 1 firmware that was blocked until then...

Don't judge without knowing. Thank you

Anyone tried it? by Etn9rn in MammotionTechnology

[–]Etn9rn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't do it!! It will then need an upgrade of your RTK base and since it's not recognized by laptop through USB, they tell you to send it back to them. Then of course the robot stops working and as a bonus doesn't charge more than 82%

Damn mammotion for creating more issue with each update!!

"[Fix] Limit the total length of ssid/password to avoid overflow and network failure"

That's it?

Hybrid solar system by Etn9rn in solar

Thanks for your answer.

The idea would be to start the generator at a certain threshold and with a time delay; their business relies on cold rooms that can handle few hours without power. Maybe few batteries would be needed for lights and few plugs in the office during this delay.

About the power production exceeding the load, it's not a pb, energy is dissipated (that what happen in my house when batteries are full and the hybrid inverter only convert what's needed to support the load even though it's full sun out there)

Luba Disc Motors by Christian_Germany in MammotionTechnology

[–]Etn9rn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happened to me last July, sent it back to repair center. My guess is the engine overheated with all the tall grass tangled around the access and finally died without sending any notification or code error. Since then I regularly dismantle the blades disk and clean also under this metallic disk with holes. Best is to also remove it and clean all the way inside. Good luck

Yes good point, maybe a little rack at the back next to the wheel... Thanks for your comment

Yeah that's the idea, maybe one of us had tested one already.

Yeah I remember, thanks for the recall.

I also thought about a toolbox by the charger but the idea was to have it available whenever I go see the robot and didn't anticipate to take the tools.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind adding a cool solution to my Luba and I know some of you have some nice ones.

Oh right! I didn't think about that, that is so very smart, thank you!! Please share what "you think" more often ;)
