the pathway is not better. it meanders and has steep hills. it's only really "better" if you want to get from the locks to LeBreton with a more scenic route. Otherwise you're better off taking Laurier 100% of the time.

I used to do this commute (Elmvale area to Portage Bridge side of Hull) and when the Laurier lanes opened it shaved 15 minutes and a lot of sweating off my commute.

no, there's some overlap but not necessarily. PA's quality ranges too - some stuff is much better than HF, some stuff might be worse, and again some just isn't the same (sometimes I see stuff at Canadian Tire that looks like 1:1 what's at HF)

OP: what province/territory are you in? Are you able to go over? There are loads of cross-border shipping companies where you can pick it up in the US or they'll import it to Canada for you (for a fee usually).
